Fit nice
True to size, these boots are by far my husband's favorite. We've bought more expensive boots that don't last as well as these

Disappointed
My last pair i used for work everyday for almost 3 1/2 years loved them. My new pair I got in February are falling apart so disappointed.

Not quite as good as my first Irish setter but still a decent boot.
Not as comfortable as my first pair of Irish setters. They were made in America

Painful, but eventually worth it.
I am a carpenter and am on my feet for 10 hours a day.I have had these boots for 1 month now trying to break them in. They rub painfully on my heels to the point I stopped wearing them.Once laced up they do not stay very tight unless you REALLY tighten them, but at that point they bare down painfully on the tops of my feet. They feel like if they didn't rub on my heels so much they would be reasonably comfortable. Will not buy them again nor will I recommend them to anyone.UPDATE:I toughed it out and they broke in beautifully after about 1.5 months. I have had them for over 2.5 years now and besides taking them to a cobbler to sew one outside seam they have held up very well. I have worn them about 90% of the days I've owned them. I still have the original laces on them!Besides work, I have pheasant and waterfowl hunted, ran, and even wore them as casual shoes. Although not waterproof, I have used them in all elements (water, snow, mud) and they take it like a champ. The steel toe recently saved my toes from a chainsaw. I would recommend buying new insoles for them after about a year or so and oil them every so often (I use neatsfoot). Recently they have been feeling like they are going down hill quicker (leather is wearing thin on the outsides of the feet), but still have life left in them. Will be buying another pair.

Great pair of boots
So far these are a great pair of boots. I'm still in the break in period and figuring out their quirks. I feel like the heel is a bit looser than what I need, but I have a wide foot and narrow heel so was somewhat expecting it. I double my socks to limit blisters (dress sock then regular wool sock) but will probably look for a heel insert at some point. The laces seem a bit thin, but are designed for the D-ring eyelets. I may replace them for some a bit longer.

Very comfortable. I approve!
This is the most comfortable steel toe work boot that I've worn. My only wish is that for the price, it should have been waterproof. I've gotten numerous compliments wearing them so far. When buying this boot, make sure to order it as your regular fit, similar to buying a sneaker. I made the mistake of buying it an half an inch bigger than what I regularly wear, because that's what's I was used to with other Brands. Instead, I had to send back the Irish Setter and got my regular fit. I don't have wide feet but EE fits comfortably. When cleaning these boots I usually use a damp microfibre cloth to wipe them down at the end of the day. I don't use any soap, chemical or mink oil when doing so.

D safety-toe in a EE boot.
It seems that the wide boot had a regular steel toe inserted? Maybe Irish Setter doesn't make wide safety toe boots? The boot seemed well constructed otherwise. I have had great experience with Irish Setter work boots, but this was my first set with a safety toe.I will have to try elsewhere.

Durable
Still using them a year later and they're holding up well. No complaints.

Good boot for the money.
Bought these for work, took a bit to work in they seemed to dig into the side of my foot a little at the start. They did get better after about 2 weeks of wear.
