It's important that you understand why we classify some as Vegan and others not (since the term Vegan is also used by some people who simply wish to avoid dairy products due to allergy or intolerance). If that is the case you can safely use our non-vegan products. In the case of this product, it contains some nutrient's made with lactobacillus - so please read below regarding this. And it also contains Vitamin D made from lanolin (sheep's wool oil). Regarding the use of Lactobacillus (good bacteria) used to make some of our nutrients we recommend that you read the two documents attached into this email. Lactobacillus is one of the starters we use to grow certain nutrients - for example magnesium or other minerals - to turn them into food. Different nutrients grow better in varying starter bases or 'pastes'. Some nutrients grow better in yeast, carrot pulp, alfalfa and other variations. Using different starter bases or pastes is what makes us different from other companies who might use the same base paste for every single nutrient, enzyme or amino acid. Please be aware that many other companies use Lactobacillus in supplements BUT will declare the product as Vegan. We feel this is unfair to the customer, because the customer needs to decide if they are happy with this or not. They are allowed to say its Vegan because the bacteria is no longer milk (100 % bacteria and 0% milk) - but we feel its important to be clear about the origins of the bacteria. Many of our Vegan customers do not mind being less strict, to have the benefit of our Food-Grown nutrients, since the alternative for vegans is so often chemical based synthetics.
