Awesome little grinder
Seems very well made with good quality materials, perhaps more plastic on plastic contact instead of using bearings than I would prefer, but that would probably be unreasonable at this price point. One of very few with an external adjustment collar for the grind setting which looks like it employs spring tensioning to maintain burr distance. The burr heads themselves seem incredibly sharp and well machined, there do not appear to be any significant irregularities and the grind looks good and consistent.I can grind about two cups worth of coffee on setting 2 in the short intervals while the coffee machine is warming for water or steam. The bottom jar holds about 3 cups of coffee, the bean area holds enough for to fill the jar 2 -3 times. The casing is smooth and while this is no issue for me, perhaps some people may find it a bit difficult to hold onto when grinding. The handle is a good length to balance speed and ease of grinding. The jar and lids fit well, so nothing escapes during the grinding process.I would have liked a glass jar instead of what is likely polycarbonate. Understand the plastic is less likely to chip or shatter, but you get significant static charge accumulation so when you unscrew the jar some of the coffee grounds like to jump free and you end up finding coffee particles all over the place and although I have not noticed, plastic can taint the coffee.I would also have liked a handle that collapsed/ telescoped down or swung round, it's pretty easy to catch your sleeve on the extended handle and knock it over, the grinder is quite heavy being so well made and can do damage. However it would likely be a more flimsy handle or make the grinder more expensive and it's not a big issue if you're careful or don't leave the grinder in the way of other things. If like me you don't see the point in an electric grinder, I can't recommend this one highly enough.

Elegant minimalist design for grinding coffee
Quality, well-made product, that deserves five stars. However, it's worth noting.1. Requires about 100 rotations for a 400ml cafetiere. This is probably similar for all hand operated grinders.2. Level marks would be useful on the transparent plastic grind container to help judge the amount.3. It is a little pricey.

Two Stars
love the aesthetic but the clear base gets stuck to the middle section and becomes impossible to unscrew
