Paperback review
The images are quite beautiful and they stimulate imagination and creativity; I actually gave this book to my thirteen-year-old sister because she feels she's too grown up for kids coloring books yet she adores coloring. She was very happy with it, because despite being intended for adults, the spaces to color are big enough for a kid's hand, and even little ones can enjoy it.I only give three stars out of 5 because the print is not exceptional; in fact, some of the figures were discolored in a few spots. It isn't something that bothers me particularly, and certainly it didn't bother my little sister, but I understand the complaints of some customers.I think that for the price point this is a decent book (the paperback version), especially when you walk into Barnes&Noble and find out that adult coloring books are not exactly cheap (I saw some priced at $80).If you're new to adult coloring books and you just want to find out if you can find pleasure and joy in this practice, I'd say go for this book, you can't beat the price. On the other hand, if you already know that you enjoy coloring and you're looking for a top-notch product, I suggest you look elsewhere.I received this book for free in exchange for an honest and unbiased review.

I have always loved to color
I have always loved to color, from the time I was able to pick up a crayon until now. Long before if became a trend, I have been coloring as a way to reduce stress. I would doodle with a black pen while I was on the phone (which is what I do for work at a call center) and then after I had a page full I would fill in with colored pencils. Now that “Adult Coloring Books” have become a trend, I have started finding more and more books available.I was a bit skeptical about being able to print from a kindle book, but there was a PDF file included that you can print from. You can choose to print one or two or the whole book multiple times. It is a book with low resolution images of coloring pages. Once you have the PDF, you can print the images and color away! I chose to print at home on regular copier paper and color one image at a time. It's great that you can use the same design and color many different ways if you wish. I have made my daughter (she's 13) a binder with a bunch of printouts from this and several other books and a pencil pouch with coloring pencils so she can take it wherever she wants. In regards to the designs, there are many designs that vary significantly in detail and complexity. Again, I see this as a positive since if I have less time on my hands, I can do a simpler design or I can share it with nephew to color. But, if I have more time on my hands or I really want to escape and relax into some coloring meditation for a while, I can choose a more complex design.I REALLY like the idea of a PDF that can be downloaded and the flexibility it provides for lots of fun family coloring. I'll definitely be checking to see if there are any other books available by this artist in the future.******If you found my review helpful please vote "YES" as this helps me become a better reviewer!***I received this product at a discounted rate in exchange for my honest and unbiased review. Can't print in Paperwhite, link not working, website non-existent
I got the Kindle version for my Kindle Paperwhite. My first problem was how to print the pages so that I could color them. I found no option to print from within the Paperwhite. I googled it and found this option is not available for Paperwhites. As I had never tried to print out a book before, I was a bit shocked by this. What further shocked me was that this book's description didn't warn people that it was not compatible with those versions of Kindle. She's selling a coloring book for Kindle users knowing full well that those who own a Paperwhite won't be able to print out the pages for coloring??? and doesn't bother to mention that up front??? That seems a bit dishonest to me, a bit greedy, too. There is a link in the front of the book that say's it's for a "100% free gift" to thank you for your purchase. I assumed that was for a few printable pages that could be downloaded. When I take that link, it appears that a page does start to load, but then I get an "application error" window that says the application could not be started, please try again. I have tried over and over and over again, all with the same results. Then I remembered that in the introduction, the author mentioned that she had offered to put your finished pages on her website....but she never gives you the address for that web site, only an email address. When I googled the authors name, no website comes up.The more I thought about this, the less it made sense...she's selling a coloring book for Kindle users that can't be printed out and colored and doesn't see any reason to tell you this beforehand??? the author is keeping her website a secret??? the link for a free gift doesn't work???I came back to this page to see if anyone else was having these issues and discovered the ebook version is no longer available for purchase. Huh??? So I got a coloring book that I can't print out the pages, the link to printed pages is not working, the website is non-existent, and now the book is off the market....???? Something stinks here...
