Just as good as the old one I have.
No starting problems since day 1. No assembly required. Very light weight. Hope it lasts as long as my curved shaft one, have had it for years without issue

Light weight beast
As I said it's about 1/2 as heavy as my fs 111 sthil. Cutting power is great for the homeowners who take care or their property and equipment. If you have a hay field to mow with a bit of everything in it I would use my Sthil. Having said that if I'm mowing my lawn with this cut my trimming time and I'm not all worn out. I trim from 2 to 3 hours at a mowing. Only thing I would change is adding a shoulder strap. Which I picked up a couple on Amazon here. Doesn't have handle bars and I like it. Cuts down on weight and not as bulky as my other trimmers. Use it an you'll be impressed. Happy mowing. Keep this planet the way God gave it to us instead of destroying. And each other.

COMPARIED TO MY OLD SHINDAWIA IT SEEMED TO HAVE LESS POWER
FOR THE AMOUNT OF MONEY THIS NEW ONE DID NOT HAVE A SHOULDER STRAP, NOT TOOL BAG WITH A FEW WRENCHES,AND PAIR OF GLOVES, MY OLD WEED EATER HAD ALL OF THESE INCLUDED IN THE PRICE.

Fun Toy
I grab this Amazon trimmer over my T262 as often as possible. It doesn't have as much power, the gas tank is smaller, but it's very fun and reliable for the residential yards. I only grab the 262 when I'm trimming more than ~45 mins

JUST RETIRED A 22CC SHINDAIWA THAT I BOUGHT IN 2004
Didn't think they could improve on my old one but this one is a cutting machine. With the wider swath, there is still more than enough power to cut heavy grass. I am 81 years old and couldn't put it down the first time I used it. Wish you had a 10 star rating as this machine deserves it.BUY IT!!!!!

I am an old gramma and this weedeater starts with one feeble pull. If i can operate it anyone can! I highly recommend getting this from Jack's
