International Caravan Mandalay Single Multi-Position Chaise Lounge

This chaise is an odd dimension: wider than most commercially available cushions (it's 26" wide vs. the most common 21" or 23" cushions) and only 5'10" long when laid out flat. I'm 5'7" and my heels rest right at the edge of the chaise when I'm sitting at a recline.I've been shopping most of the day for a cushion to fit, but it looks like I'll have to have one custom-made. Nothing is the same dimensions as this chaise.It's not a problem for me, and my 5'0" daughter is going to be delirious with joy, but this piece would be impossible to use if I were any taller. Still, it's an attractive design and reasonably well-made - the powder-coat finish is cracked in a few places, so I'll have to apply a sealant or watch it crumple into rust.And all I wanted to do after it arrived was relax! Ah well.

A very good value in spite of minor imperfections. The photo is a good indication of the design, but does not show the stoutness of the construction. The bed is very firm, so a cushion at least 3" thick is necessary. It assembled easily. The paint shows a couple very small spots where it could wear off, and I expect I will have to use a spray can to touch up in a year or so. There are two small, black rubber buffers to cushion the spot where the back support contacts a cross bar. These tore immediately and had to be reinforced with black tape, as did the rubber tread on the metal wheels. This thin tread kept slipping off. These were extremely simple fixes and are unobtrusive. Considering the high cost of other wheeled lounges, I am very pleased with this purchase.

the chair arrived without damage. There were about 5 or 6 parts to put together, which I could handle with hardly looking at the directions. some reviews mention that the chair is wider than the average cushion. My old, Martha Stewart cushion set (from Kmart YEARS ago) was a tad smaller, but not so much that I noticed it once it was on the chair. I have a pretty fluffy cushion, so maybe the flimsy ones might look small. I found the chaise to be sturdy enough. The paint job is a little thin, so I gave the whole chair a good spray with a clear topcoat in satin to help prevent any rusty spots (hopefully). the little rubber 'rings' that cover the metal wheels are a bit weeny, but I don't think it will be much of an issue if they wear off-the wheel will just be louder i guess:).I'm sick of plastic everything, or crappy cheap wood, so a metal chair at any super-reasonable price makes me happy.

Solid, spacious and elegant. From the box took me about 15 minutes to assemble. Does need some type of cushion to sit comfortably. Finding a cushion that equals its 25” seating width is challenging, as most lounge chair cushions are made to fit 21” chairs.

The Wheels may seem a little loose... But they are fine.. Might be a problem if your 325lbs.

Very attractive & stylish. The wheels seem to be a little "wobbly", so not sure how those are going to hold up. Overall I am happy with this product so far....I have had it for about 3 weeks.

It is much heavier than it appears in the photographs. I am complemented on it all the time, and people seem to think I paid a ton of money for it because of the style and weight. I saw other reviews regarding the custom cushion size, but since mine is under a covered porch, I loaded it with quilts and it is very comfortable for long periods. I would purchase this again.
