Main thing for me was the seal. I use it for my lunches everyday and use some oils and dressings so the seal had to be great. Other makes use a cheap rubber ring which is is inserted and over time it gets mouldy and black and eventually just gets look and falls out. This is like a silicone seal that does not come out and leaves no gaps for food stuff to enter and sit. Makes cleaning quicker and easier and of course keeps my food safely inside without leaking.

I bought these and new how big they'd be, but they're still somehow smaller than I expected. It is a good product, but it doesn't really fit that much in it. For example, I cannot fit lunch sandwiches in it very well, but can put things like small portions of rice and pasta.

Perfect size for the freezer, I like to batch cook and these are great............I line them with cling film so as not to spoil them, chilli will usually stain and lining first they work perfectly. Good fitting lids as well.

Update,I have noted that a number of retailers are now selling these under differing Brand Names, Sainsbury's are selling a larger Storage box than in this set for £10 & Dunhelm are selling it for over £11, if you source it via Ebay you will pay ridiculous postal charges as well :-(If you buy this set individually you can pay anything from £50 to £100 including postage .I have purchased this set via amazon for £21,52 & £19.73, two at the latter price all for presents.I can not more strongly suggest you buy this set via Amazon & save yourself a great deal of money :-)I am 100% not connected in anyway with Amazon or anyone associated with this product :-( Check out my other product reviews.I have reviewed a large number of these Food Storage Containers when I purchased them individually!I however was looking for a way of sourcing these items at a good price. I have fallen in love with esma. About 2 years ago, I was tired of buying supermarket airtight containers as they always broke and found the Esma brand to replay some lunch boxes. Then.... when it was time to replace a few food storage containers I had no bought I was going to buy Esma. They wash well in the dishwasher. We don't put them in the microwave but we do use them in the freezer and they are still looking great. We also own 2 travel coffee flasks that are wonderful. These are also dishwasher friendly.

The quality of these storage containers was apparent as soon as I opened the parcel. They are very sturdy with well fitting lids.I use these small containers for storing food items in the fridge, for example blueberries which keep for a week in these airtight boxes.

Bought these for meal prepping but they are great for any food requirements. They aren't too big either. I would say too small for sandwich lunch but great for soups, leftovers etc

Finally found lunchboxes that dont leak! These are brilliant and seal really well. I have used them for some time now and yet to have a leak in my back pack.Highly recommend.
