We have a 10 lb. Brussels Griffon/Pug mix--aka "Brug" puppy who inhales food like she's never eaten in her life. (This originally caused her stomach upset, reflux, gas, regurgitation.) First we tried using our other dog's (Chihuahua/Pekingese) green spiral bowl by the same brand to slow her down, but it was so narrow that there were sections her little flat face simply couldn't reach. It's complex enough to still slow her pace (they learn to work, use their tongue to get the trickier parts) but the flower-shaped openings/spaces are more easily accessible for her flat, sniffly muzzle. It's a sturdy, solid (can't flip it or chew it), resilient, easy to pop in the dishwasher, long-lasting product, as we've had our other one for 7 years and it's still going strong.
