This nativity is very small but it is just what I was looking for and I am pleased. Sadly I was unable to leave it out this year because my almost-2-yr-old wanted to play with it sooo badly and all the glitter was coming off. Guess I should have seen it coming. I like that the faces on the figures have closed eyes, makes it much harder for them to mess up the paint job. They all looked nice/cute and are tasteful. I looked at many nativities but the paint jobs on so many of the faces were a real turn off. When I set it up I was wishing I had maybe a small platter of sand or a decorative cloth to set everything on.

Thrilled-High quality, charming beyond words, perfect detail,
I’m astonished at the high level of detail, charm and beauty in this nativity. I needed a petit set as, I live in a Caribbean cottage and it’s the right size. I’m particular about faces in nativities and they are all just perfect. Thank you- I’ll treasure this for years to come. It exceeded my expectations. Highly, highly recommend!

A sweet little nativity! Very nice set.
Looks just like the picture. I like the sparkle on this set & its small so it can fit in many places. Mary is holding Jesus which makes it unique as well. I've seen reviews complaining that Mary looks like an angel b/c of her halo. I disagree b/c wings make an angel for me, which Mary does not have. As for the complaints that Joseph looks like a shepherd, I don't understand that complaint either. Almost every nativity I've seen has depicted Joseph with a shepherd's staff & often, with a lantern on the crook. He has the staff in this set & has a baby deer at his feet. I liked the variety of animals in this set too. It's a very sweet nativity that I'm very pleased with.

Love this miniature Nativity scene!
Grasslands Road makes some incredibly cute items. I saw this Nativity scene and had to have it to add to my collection. It is so tiny I was able to set it up on the sofa end table for everyone to enjoy. I wish more of Grasslands Road items were available on Amazon.

No Jospeh
This is a really cute nativity set but after we opened it my boys asked where Jospeh was...there's a shepherd but as my 7 yr old said (when I tried passing the shepherd off as Jospeh)..."Jospeh was a carpenter not a shepherd." If Jospeh was included it would be perfect. For now my 5 yr said that Joseph went to talk to the inn keeper about some food so I'm going with that.Otherwise it came quickly and in perfect condition.

So cute, so beautiful
So cute, so beautiful I can see this in a small apartment or anywhere. Of course, if you're a Nativity nut like me, it's just one of about 40 sets around my house during the Christmas season. This is one of my favorites.

Pretty, but does not have both Joseph and shepherd
We were looking for a nativity scene and my husband accidentally hit one-touch on this one and it showed up at our door. I am returning it because it was an accidental order.I believe we were charged $35-40, which way too high for this set. That said, the pieces are well made and the details are nice for resin. It looks "pretty".Negatives are that Mary has a halo that sticks up out of here head and looks like an angel. And there is one figure holding an animal that I'm not sure if it's supposed to be Joseph or the shepherd. So it seems that the set designer was trying to kill 2 birds with one stone with Mary/angel and Joseph/shepherd. And the arch, while pretty does not look like a crèche or stable and there is no manger.I have a child who is just learning the Christmas story so this set is not good for us. In my mind, it's important to have both Joseph and a shepherd, and I prefer there to be a manger.
