Decent for the price.
Firstly, be aware of incentivised reviews. The seller offered to send me extra free rings if I gave a positive review. I did not take this up.That said, I like these clips. They're not the strongest ever but they do the job and the spring is strong. I use them to clip my car key to my belt while I'm running. I've also used them to clip my water bottle to my bag at work. They're solid enough for smaller jobs.

Quality feel and appear robust
I needed a few accessory clips and wasn't prepared to pay the prices charged by outdoor shops. I ordered these expecting them to be of lesser quality than I have previously paid higher prices for but have been pleasantly surprised at the excellent finish and the positive action of the gate. Additionally the spring on the gate isn't exposed and therefore protected. Delivery was within a couple of days and each item is protected in its own perfect fit bag. I'm really happy as my expectations have been far exceeded. If there are any issues long-term I will update this review.

Compared to others.....
Bought a lot of carabiners across the years. Over time the cheaper ones fail - usually due to the design and quality of metal and spring. Wasn’t expecting such a difference in quality for almost the same price - the pics above show the difference in clasp mechanics but what you can’t see in the image is the feel of these beauties. The mechanism just feels so much stronger and the material more solid. Almost want to test how much weight these could take! I think the flat profile is smarter looking the the colours better than others. Will post more if they let me down. Otherwise happy to recommend.

Great product! Exactly as Intended for use with a tarp for lightweight backpacking and wildcamping!
I bought a set of 10 in Black. I want to use them to attach guy lines to my Alpkit rig 7 tarp. These are perfect for the job. Lightweight, strong, and very well made. A real bargain for the price. The size is great, and the tension in the gate is really well balanced. Firm but easy to manage with cold wet hands while setting up a tarp on the hills.Delivery was fast, and got a nice note from the seller.I'll definitely recommend these. I'm generally quite fussy. But these are great.Update. I have since bought more of these, as I am so happy with the quality. The last batch were used to repair clips on the handle of a duffle bag, to make them straps removable.5 out of 5!

This isn't going to save your life, but for many applications it's perfect
I've been honest in my review scoring - 3/5 for sturdiness and durability. 5/5 overall though. This is not going to save your life. It's not *that* level of strong, and it's not so robust that it's going to take a beating and keep on clipping together securely. However for any application where you want a very lightweight and good quality clip (it's far better quality than any other cheap one I've bought in the past), it's ideal. But again, you're not going to save someone's life pulling them up a cliff edge with it.

Great quality for the price and sturdy too!
I bought these for my upcoming bike tour where these will serve so many purposes holding items on my bike or hooking tarps or lines while camping.I chose these because they look more sturdy than others of a similar size and I must say that I’m impressed! The build quality is spot on for the price and I tried some paracord to see what these can take. I found these will take some serious pressure which is great for what I need.I’d recommend these, in fact I’ll be ordering more to take with me as I’m sure I’ll lose some over the miles/months cycle touring.

Supremely effective!
The original reason for buying was to use two of them to attach the mozzie net of my hammock up to the ends of the tarp by the ridgeline - which they do superbly well! I'm also using them for attaching a small chest pack onto the shoulder straps of my rucksack, a keyring clip, hanging my home-made camping lantern onto the tarp ridgeline, attaching my underquilt to the hammock suspension carabiners and various other things. The gate opens wide enough to be practical; all the metal is smoothly finished, no rough spots or jags anywhere; the spring is strong enough to be reassuring without being too stiff to operate easily; the square shape of the carabiner and the width of the spring/gate means that it's a lot less likely to slip or jump sideways in your hand while using it.In fact, the only thing I can think of to complain about is that they sent black ones when I ordered grey!Oh well, I guess I'll just have to order some more - before I run out.

Better than most mini keychain carabiners
I like these things. They're colourful, surprisingly strong, and way nicer than typical mini-carabiners that you find adorning water bottles etc. The spring gate design is well suited to the small size; the sorts that have a small leaf spring inside a tubular gate tend to lose their spring, and they also tend to be much bendier; with these, although there's some inconsistency, with the occasional stiff seeming spring gate, they look nicer, have less to go wrong, and are nice and sturdy. About the only thing I don't like is the fact that they have the slightly weird brand name written down one side. According to the manufacturer, they're good for 40Kg - I have no reason to doubt this, I've tried hauling on on hard using a luggage scale up to about 100lb and they don't seem to bend unduly. (There's a slightly bigger version that are allegedly good for 80Kg, those ones are styled more like miniature versions of climbing carabiners.)Update: It's come to my attention that people have been offered free product for favorable reviews of these, so for avoidance of doubt, I had no such offer - had I, I would have said so, and deducted a star on principle.
