Good for one time read!!
In this story, three housemates from three different countries live together in a shared apartment, including Rishi from India who is trying to make ends meet, Shahzad from Bangladesh who is a tattoo artist, and Ali from Pakistan, a chef. They all live in London, each with their own dreams and aspects. They all have their own problems to deal with. Rishi and Ali have some funny fights whenever there is an Indo-Pak match. Three friends dream of reuniting their countries that were divided due to some historical misunderstanding.Beautiful Zeenat is the daughter of Mohammad Mulla, the landlord of the boys. Shehzad and Zeenat indulge in affection, while Ali holds romantic feelings for her. On the other hand, Rishi is more concerned with keeping up with his job than romancing women. But in a strange set of circumstances, Rishi and Zeenat are brought close together. The story takes a dramatic turn towards the end when all three of the guys are in pursuit of Zeenat. Now, who will win Zeenat's heart? Or is there someone else, for whom Zeenat's heart beats?

A layered book with deeper insight!
Love Curry is a fast-paced romantic comedy. From the surface level, it is a funny story but as you dig deeper into the plot, you discover there are many layers underneath. The language is lucid. The writing style is engaging. The vocabulary you need to read the book is medium level. The cover and title serve their purpose decently. I will not say I am fully satisfied by them but to an extent, they cover their purpose. The author has dealt with so many subplots in the book. Somewhere I felt those subplots did not merge properly. I was reading the book and I was enjoying also. But I cannot say that I was hooked to the book.Pankaj Dubey is an author who writes about topics that needed to be discussed. The way he has described the trio-relationship melted my heart right then and there. Our lands are indeed divided, yet the culture, the emotion, the rage, the pain are the same. There is a scene in the book where the trio discusses how it would have been if the lands were not divided. The scene was one of my favorite parts of the book. Then the way Shehazad’s feelings, Ali’s dilemma, Rishi’s nature are written, is bound to touch your heart.

It's a sweet, fun and easy read.
Love curry is a story of three friends from different countries who falls in love with the same girl. What will happen when they come to know, that each one is dating the same girl. Shehzad from Bangladesh who is a tattoo artist, Ali from Pakistan who is a chef and Rishi from India who is unable to stick to a job falls in love with Zeenat. The cover of the book is interesting, so is the title. How the story started, I felt like it will be another romantic story, but then as the story proceeds, it’s much more than a typical love story. The three friends who stood by each other whenever they faced problems. the plot of the story is interesting. The narration of the story is smooth, crisp with lots of humour. The quirky dialogues and the concept of food being constant throughout the story. Their love for food unites them. It’s a fresh read like a complete Bollywood movie. The story has twists and turns with lots of fun. The pace of the story is good. The flow of the story is smooth and wonderful. I loved how the book proceeded and the climax was something unexpected. the language used by the author is simple and interesting. the way the author portrayed each and everything was something I loved most. The characters made by the author are strong and each of them had their own importance. each of them had a different personality, different style and perspective. Love, fun, friendship, relationship, everything is explained in a crisp way and wonderfully.Overall, I loved the book and would recommend it to everyone. It's a sweet, fun and easy read.
