HIC Deep Souffles, Porcelain, 2.75-Inch x 3.75-Inch, 10-Ounce Capacity, Set of 6

I was searching for ceramic ramekins to use for meat pies. (12 oz. was too small and 16 oz. is too big.) These are the perfect size portion and wall height height. [First, a Tip regarding all the negative Reviews about labels. Yes, it is stupid for a manufacturer to use a paper label with strong adhesive on the inside of this item, but you can get it completely off and it will be worth it. Gently and patiently a use fingernail, single edge blade, sharp chisel or whatever to remove as much of the paper as you can. Go slowly and more will come off in tact. Then remove the adhesive residue with a make-up remover pad or cotton ball moistened with a little nail polish remover and viola! - all gone! Be sure to wash the ramekins before use. The acetone will not affect the porcelain finish. Don't forget to remove the barcode label on the bottom too. It will peel right off.] These ramekins seem to be high quality - very uniform glaze with no observable pits or voids. It has a smooth unglazed bottom with no nibs to scratch things. I like the recessed inner top rim since it makes release easier. I am very happy with these. Packing was fine - all arrived unbroken.

Good product. I brought a set of these and received six individual white 8-ounce souffle dishes. Amazon packaged these up wonderfully and there wasn't a single scratch or dent on any of them.I use these dishes to make individual pot pies, crumbles and the sort. Since I only cook for my husband and I, I don't always want an entire baking dish and the worry of having to eat leftovers for days afterwards. These dishes make nice individual sized portions.The dishes look very nice and stylish, and clean up well in the dishwasher. A reviewer noted that they don't stack very well, and this is true. I did manage to get them to stack in two sets of three, but I wouldn't risk stacking them any higher. Even at only 3 high, they seem a little precarious and I tend to make sure they're well balanced against the back corner of the cupboard.Otherwise, I am very happy with my purchase.

One arrived with a crack on the inside of the bowl so I rated this 4 stars instead of 5. I made some good sized chicken pot pies out of these that were more than enough to feed my family. Since the unused one has that crack I couldn't use it and threw it away. (amazon gave me a % back to make up for the broken one)I was a bit nervous that these wouldn't hold up in the oven @ 400 since the one had the crack in it, but the rest did fine.It would have been nice to have a full set of 6 (for extras or drop in guests) but thats ok,I can always buy more later if I want.Will update my review after I've used them more as to how well they hold up to regular use.****Update****They are a good size and are heavy enough that they don't go sliding all over the place. They bake very well, look nice, and are easy to clean.

These were great. The only reason for four stars is that they came with a sticker on the bottom of the inside of the bowl. I couldn't get it out to save my life. Soaked it, scrubbed it, did everything I could. It was a pain. That being said after a long time of cleaning I was able to use them. They worked well. Made French Onion soup. The family loved it!

While most ramekins are either two big for a main dish serving or two small these are a very unique size...14 oz is just perfect to give everyone their own mini serving of things you'd normally cook in one large casserole dish which is quite unique...individual pot piesindividual enchilada piesindividual shepard's piescobblerscreme bruleessalad bowls such as pasta salads, potato salad, etclayered dessertschocolate lava cakes or any hot dessert topped with icecreamThey are simply a great size, especially for an individual main dish but you'll also find yourself using them for appetizers and dips to serve several things...nuts, dips, etc. Since they are white you could easily use them to go well on a larger plate if, for example, you want to do chips on a larger plate with dip inside served in the middle of the plate.You can take them right from the oven to the table.

I had mixed emotions about ordering because of mixed reviews. These are great ramekins, came packaged in credibly well and the stickers came off with ZERO hassle. Perfect size at 14oz for individual pot pies, souffles or ice cream dishes. They came packaged in a box separated by dividers and inside another box with no wiggle room. The stickers came of in less than 30 seconds for all six. It was 90 degrees here and the glue was warm from sitting on my porch. Don't listen to the reviews from clueless people. These are great.

I have other sizes of the HIC ramekins, and have been pleased with their performance.I ordered these 14 ounce Souffles, and they were exactly the size I was looking for. I needed them for doing individual Shepherd's Pie and also chicken pies. Waited for them to cool down and froze. As there are 6, that means 3 nights 'dinner for 2' ready for thawing and re-heating. These also are very easy to clean, and stack nicely.

These little dishes are a lot more "rustic" than I expected. I was kind of expecting a lovely French porcelaine dish to match my Corning dishes. But that's okay. These fit the bill. I needed this size for my recipe, which was cooked in the pressure cooker. And these are study enough to hold up to that kind of heat. Very easy to clean, and store stacked in my cupboard. I am happy with these.

Love them, perfect size, beautifully finished. Got them when I was looking for Apilco. Perfect alternative

Great for souffle but also great for organizing the cutlery drawers in the kitchen.
