All right, I had to get a magnet and I didn’t know that they had magnets that have certain weights, but I needed it because one of my tools fell down a storm drain. I ended up getting the magnet and following day. And with my amazement, it worked and I got it out of the storm drain. So if you have a situation like I did, it is worth having now I just keep it in my vehicle in case something like this ever happens again.

Won’t reel in the big items unfortunately but if you do magnet fishing as a hobby these are perfect. Fun to see what you can get when fishing with this in a river :)

Definitely a very strong Magnet,Tested it out by getting a Large Prybar out of a drain hole.Never released it until we had to pry it off. Impressive strength in a small size.

Magnet is very strong, but remember you need a sizable piece of metal to get the maximum bonding. It didn’t work for pulling the steel back off a watch.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:These are great magnets and I've always been useful. They are extremely strong and will do the job for magnet fishing or tasks around the house. I haven't yet used them enough in damp conditions to see if they rust which some other brands do. But so far they have been wonderful.

This is definitely a strong magnet. The hook arrived as a separate piece that I was supposed to screw into the top. Hahaha. The magnet sucked it right out of my hand and I had significant difficulty separating the metal from the magnet.I purchased this with the intent of stud finding, retrieving metal objects dropped behind the washer, and collecting sewing pins when I drop the whole box on the floor. It works perfectly for all of these. Could probably pull my car into the garage, too.It is a little heavy. You wouldn't want to take it backpacking. (I am afraid it might mess with my scale if I try to weigh it!) The size is reasonable. And I will never lose it because it will forever be attached to my metal tool box.

bought the largest one and a smaller one, it says something like "800 lbs of pull force" but that depends entirely on what the object is.i got it stuck on a metal bridge and that definitely showed its strength since it was hard to get off, but for some other things it barely stayed attached at all even though they were magnetic.would like to see some kind of hook attachment for magnet fishing so you can also pull some nonmagnetic stuff up.
