The Joy of Genius: The Next Step Beyond The Big Leap

I've loved the authors previous books through the years, especially "The Big Leap", but this book is a big disappointment. I was so excited to hear he had written a new book, I bought it on pre-order for $20.It is literally and figuratively lightweight. It is barely 99 pages (large type) with a few pages for a meditation and a breathing exercise. I read the entire book in 2 hours. There isn't hardly any content! The exercises are remedial- stuff I've been teaching for 30 years. I have no idea why he would make this smattering of notes into a book. The last chapter (2.5 pages), "A Farewell Blessing", seems like he is dying and this is his last "book". Kinda pisses me off he'd want to sell me his "goodbye world" in a $20 paperback- esp when we already got his message in all the rest of his books.Best to just get "The Big Leap" and leave this one behind bc you aren't missing anything. The best thing about this book is the title.

Occasionally you read a book that you know will stick with you for the rest of your life. This is one of those books. I had previously read The Big Leap and did not have high expectations that this would be as powerful. I was so wrong, and I am so glad I read it.

Practical, fully operational ....and magic! I've experienced many Hendricks products as gifts in my life and continue to practice coming from a place of creative genius. The Joy of Genius is a simple read from a brilliant being full of breath, appreciation and life human being. There's alot if hand on inside this gem too. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

Guy Hendricks again takes the reader on a journey to make life much less stressful and opens the path to live life with more intention and higher quality. This allows one to create the environment for the one's Genius to flourish.Highly recommended.

Dr. Hendricks is a great writer and communicator. Liked the fresh perspectives and useful activities to help me see my joy of genius.
