HAIL JASON YEE the real deal. This hard bitten pot boiler has a lovely noir feel capturing the cinematic mood expertly. JASON YEEhas real kung fu skills. Check him out for real on youtube battling super star CUNG LE. A truly serendipitous find to have discovered this rising star. Gonna watch for him and check out any flicks he does. Enjoyed this noir flick immensely. Hoes and losers with hearts of gold going up against greedy pimps and corrupt cops illustrating the nastiest of THE 7 DEADLY SINS. Well done JY. I'm watching for U to make it big.

Script could have been better. The tone was confusing -- parts were straight up comedic and I don't think that's what the filmmakers were going for... Very cool sets and photography considering it was so low-budget. Fight scenes were very good. The gratuitous female nudity/stimulated sex scenes -- I get it, it's geared towards a male audience. The ex porn star in a cameo, for ex. But... come on... what about the female audience? Jason Yee should be a huge star -- he's super handsome and the real deal when it comes to martial arts. Someone, please, give the guy a great role.

Sasha is only in one scene and the acting is terrible

I'm not some expert on techniques used to film,or the tech involved with discs,etc. Just a Prime viewer. But I know what I like,and this film had me interested from beginning to end! Awesome fight sequences throughout,a storyline that was compelling enough to stay with,and some twists and turns! When they started playing Ravels Bolero near the end,I got ready for an epic fight scene,and was NOT disappointed !!

Just what I was looking for. I like cheesy B flicks and this is a good one. Lots of action. A fun film to watch.

It was different than most. The action was unusual because the style of martial arts used was different. As a long time martial artist, it was enjoyable.A 38 year old bouncer for the Naked Lady strip joint, etc., had affection for a 16 year old that work for the Naked Lady as a prostitute who he drove to locations. There’s a sweetness and caring that develops between them with no sex. Shooting, cool realistic martial arts, human caring and the constant feeling of Asian and American emendated from the film. It starts out with a jolting bang and goes on from there, without telling every thing. It’s a different type of film but entertaining. No it’s not an academy awards winner, just pure pleasure to watch.I would recommed this to anyone that enjoys a good exciting romp in the underbelly of the gangster world.

This is an outstanding film with a strong plotline, excellent performances, heart-pounding and realistic action, and first-rate cinematography! My friends and film colleagues thoroughly enjoyed it when it premiered at the Hoboken International Film Festival, and watching it a second time on DVD let me further appreciate the artistry. As a life-long martial artist, I especially admire the true to life and cleverly choreographed fight sequences in this film, and most notably Jake's (portrayed by actor/producer/writer, Jason Yee) hallway fight scene. Very convincing performances by Ron Yuan and Jason Yee. You are sure to enjoy this film!

It's fun to watch, nice not to see Asian Stereotypes and damn is it violent

Schön düsterer Film.Es gibt hier nicht weiter anzubringen, schöne Martial Arts und Action Szenen.Mit Sascha Grey auf dem Cover zu werben soll wohl mehr zum anschauen animieren, sie selbst ist nur Nebendarstellerin.

There's a lot to like about the action film "The Girl From the Naked Eye," especially some crisp martial arts fight sequences and the subtle sense of humor that surfaces now and then.

There isnt much about this film that is new or exciting, it pretty much riffs on everything from sin city to old boy.Its a dark gloomy film with the main character providing a suitably smooth voice over to narrate the story in between the bouts of violence and gunplay.The story is really just a shadow of numerous films, reminicent of the doomed love theme present in the crow, a bit of the thriller/one man army aspect from taken and the loner on the fringes of society from old boy.I cant say that I liked the direction, its at times too stylised and especially during the fight scenes it lacks the power to drag you into the fray.It could have been a decent if forgettable film but instead its just forgettable

rubbish. don't waste your good money.total waste of time. no story, no acting.plain crap.not much to say really.just do not spend you hard earned money on this...
