Seifenschale Emaille

I bought this for my daughter (who asked for it for Christmas) but I was astonished by the price for such a simple, small piece of enamel.I had been given a very similar soap dish which cost a fraction of this one. Admittedly that was some time ago, but the price differential is still unjustifiable. Ib Laursen may be a well-regarded designer, but this soap dish is just a basic, functional object.
