Item as good as expected
I am using Prestige Pressure Cooker for many years. Their products are really worthy of praise. But once the handle of cooker or lid become loose you have to change both at a time otherwise its very troublesome to get the perfect match wth the parts available in the market.

Works well except for handle not heat resistant
Used for 4 days and no major issues faced,only drawback is the Bakelite is not heat resistant and holder is slim. Have to use a cloth or wait for 5 minutes to hold the cooker. This is not the case with my existing cooker which is deluxe plus, has a good heat resistant Bakelite.

I have a 3-litre with which I was very happy and got this 4-litre one because I needed one that was just a touch bigger.

Terrible product
Extremely disappointed with the purchase. Low quality. The lid doesn't even close properly. The gasket is made of cheap quality material. The product can't even be used for a single time. The product weighs like a toy with a terrible make. Never will recommend anyone to purchase this product.

Poor quality control and aluminum warps on induction stoves
We recently purchased an induction stove and our old pressure cooker wouldn't work on it. We have been using the Prestige brand for years, so thought I would get this one in the size that I wanted.I returned two cookers for the following reasons1. Broken handle in the first one. They really need to pay attention to shipping and handling.2. The aluminum warps after a few uses.3. Price is at least 2-3 times the price if compared to purchasing in India, so I suggest if you are making a trip or have someone coming from there, get them to bring you one, or you bring one yourself.Having said that, do not buy the aluminum version. There is a stainless steel version for induction. If you can find it on Amazon. Don’t buy it!!!!
Really poor quality!!! The base that should be flushed with the induction surface isn’t, it takes almost twice as much time to work as a normal pressure cooker on a gas stove.
