It's a very powerful hair dryer...sleek n light but very efficient. It blow dries my hair in 3 min..I am not much of a hair style enthusiast but it is great for everyday use..I am also very impressed by Amazon..delivery was bang on time..product secured in good package n all new n shiney. ..

Remington hair dryer D5220 is excellent and dry's my hair really fast without damage. Does not make noise as other hair dryers. This is my second hair dryer and I'm happy that I choose this one.

the dryer was good for the first few months. but after that, the nozzle wouldn't stay on while the dryer was being used. seems like the nozzle circumference expanded due to the heat. now i use it without the nozzle but the effect of the blowdry is not as good. not worth the price.

Its a gud hair dryer.....only con the control buttons r not that gud

I received my hairdryer very promptly but unfortunately it does not have a UK plug or adaptor, this is not stated in the sales information. I asked the vendor if an adaptor would be supplied as it would cost a further £5 to purchase one but received no response. So just wanted to warn people of this.

All the bad reviews of this hairdryer are true I'm afraid. I should have listened. It's powerful, but that's the only positive. It heats up too quickly. The coolest setting is too cold. The medium setting is already too hot. Dried my hair in seconds but turned my normally straight shiny hair into a fuzzy mass. Also it is quite heavy for the size.I bought this to replace my older Remington model but it's just not the same. I think it might be the worst hairdryer I've ever used. I normally prefer to say nothing rather than leave a bad review but it might help you decide. Give something else a try. 4.5 stars doesn't mean anything this time.

This item came with a 2 pin Euro plug. We live in the UK, so this is absolutely useless.If I could give zero stars I would have done, I do not expect to purchase items from UK retailer and get Euro products.

I bought this because it was a "Which?" best buy. It is a simple traditionally styled hair dryer which does what it says on the box, and comes with a 3 year guarantee, extended to 4 years when you register online. It comes with a directional nozzle and a diffuser for use with long hair, and has enough heat and blow settings to satisfy most needs. It's not a Dyson, but then you can buy ten of these for the price of a Dyson......
