A great book to get into literature.
I think it made me cherish my college days more. And also one of the books to get me into literature.

Good book. Worth a read.
There’re some really interesting moments and a few brilliant things done by the characters in the book. When I was 60% into the book, I thought I would give a 3-star review after finishing the book. But when I finished reading the book, I felt so emotional, and the emotion is going to stay with me for a while, and so I’m giving a 4-star review.

This is awesome, amazing and perfect book I have ever read apart from my text books.
I have given 5 rating to this book is because I have really got to learn new stuff which I never thought about, like how to explain a situation, expressions, love, feelings etc. In words. Because I am learning English, this book really took my English to next level. The story was totally unbelievable and quite interesting for me. I m looking forward if there is any new eddition or version of this book. I love this book. Thanks to sir CHETAN BHAGAT who wrote such a marvelous book.

Entertaining Read!
The writing style is cool and i loved the analogies used that fits perfectly in those situations. The plot is plain and simple, despite that i really enjoyed the quick paced storyline. The book has romance, drama, friendship, IIT struggle, etc. but is more inclined towards the funny side. I liked the character development of the trio from the beginning till the end. The ending was not according to my taste and wasn't as smooth as the on-going storyline. I find some things odd in the book, but overall I thoroughly enjoyed it. It's totally different from the movie "3 Idiots" which is a total win-win situation for readers who've watched the movie, but haven't read the book, yet. I know the majority of people has read this book, but there may be some species like me who haven't, so they can give it a try. It is perfect for those who are over-burdened by expectations, pressure and responsibilities in life and this book can encourage them to live life to the fullest on their own terms, not somebody else's. I liked this book, i hope you'll love it, too! 😊

Revisit to mt Engineering days, though I am not an IITian.
An Engineer would surely connect to this book. Well written and good structure. Enjoyed each and every bit of it.One regret is that I should have read this book before watching '3 Idiots' 27 times. One tends to compare and contrast everything in this book with the movie. Anyways it's a personal regret and no doubt '3 idiots' is hugely inspired by this great book.

Nice little Indian-style "coming of age" college drama
Three Point Someone is a cute college drama, humorous and light. Even Though there are some cliche moments, those who are interested in India and cross-cultural literature should find it quite amusing. It is lightly written and it takes you inside the campus life of three Indian IIT students, facing the pressure from family and trying to survive in a twisted education system. There are also some

A lot different from the movie but a great book
I came to know about this book through the movie 3 idiots. I liked so much the movie and it was a surprise how different is was the story compared to the book. I liked both movie and the book, but it was easier to me to relate with the characters here than in the movie, the characters were more grounded, the interactions more natural and overall i found it more engaging. But if you are expecting to have the same story that the movie you might be disappointed, there are some mayor differences both in the story and the characters so be open minded and judge them for what they are, a very different product.

A Romp in vocational Academia?
I enjoyed this book very much, enough to have bought another book by this author since. The protagonist Hari had been an achiever at school but when he gets into the elite Indian Institute of Technology, the going gets very tough- so tough, in fact, that he is no longer a high flier but instead, the five-pointer of the title. He teams up with Ryan and Alok, and their efforts to improve their grades are hilarious and at times cringe-makingly embarrassing. You want to say to him, Don't do that, it's not worth it! Sometimes it leads to pure farce but always page-turningly entertaining and moves at a pace

Studentenroman übers indische MIT
Ich habe gute Einblicke ins Indian Institute of Technology bekommen.
