Easy to use

I purchased this gasket cement for modifications to my new Oklahoma Joe's Highland Smoker. I added a gasket around the door and used the cement. I also used it to seal all seams where metal on metal met (firebox to smoking chamber, the two halves of the firebox, and around the chimney). It cure during the burn-in process and I have no leaks. It almost makes this $300 smoker as efficient as a $1K offset smoker. The only 'negative' was that this was a two tube set and I didn't even finish the first tube. Buyer's error, not a defect in the product.

I guess I'm spoiled by other caulk-gun-filling products from larger manufacturers. This stove cement squirted out like water at first, then clumped and sputtered. The texture was not consistent, which made application tougher than it should have been. As a result, I may have done a less than great job reassembling my stove. Haven't fired up the stove yet (it's summer), but I am not confident that I won't have to re-do the whole thing.

Bought this to cement a couple of hairline cracks in a stove pipe. As soon as the tip was cut off, the "cement" dribbled out like water. It was an absolute mess, and a waste of time and money. Will not purchase again. Do not recommend it for any use.
