Perfect OEM Replacement - BMW 135i
I used this to replace the angel eye bulb in my BMW 135i. It is the same as the OEM equipment and was not too difficult to install. The hardest part is reattaching the plastic piece that covers the headlights after replacing the bulb. Getting the bottom tabs to seat properly may take some effort and may produce some scratched knuckles. Modern cars pack everything a little too tightly under the hood IMO. Otherwise it is a fairly straightforward replacement and much cheaper than going through the dealer or a mechanic (assuming your service plan has expired).

Bad bulbs!!
These bulbs are the worst. I thought because it was a famous brand they were going to last...man was I wrong! They lasted a little over 2 months. That's embarrassing!!! So posed off it took a lot of work and money to get them installed. Now I have to buy a new pair.😡

Works perfectly for angel eye daytime running lamps for 2007-2010 BMW 3 Series Coupés
I bought this item based on the other reviews for this product. I was surprised when pulling the old bulb out that it was the same model, so this must be used as an OEM part. Brightness is the same as the old bulb and is color matched to the existing opposite side DRL.I bought 2 so when the other one goes out, I'll have it ready on hand.If you don't do this yourself and take it to your mechanic or dealer, insist that this is the correct part. H8 is used for E92 Coupés from 2007-2010. Older models may vary depending on whether the angel eyes are used as daytime running lamps or just accent lights.

Too dim for BMW halo lights.
I bought this light to replace a burned out halo/angel light (passenger side) in my 2009 BMW 328i with xenon headlights. It fits, but is way too dim. One of the halos looks unlit during the day and the whole passenger side is obviously dimmer than the driver side at night). I later purchased http://amzn.com/B000VUB4F4 which is the correct brightness.

Perfect fit for 2008 535Xi DRL's with adaptive headlights
These appear to perfectly match the color and intensity of the OEM bulbs, so it's safe to buy just one. The DRL bulb cover is the inboard, round black cover. Both the cover and bulb twist out. Removal of the plastic wire clip is the only difficult part of the operation. I enlisted a 13 year old with small hands, but PARTIAL removal of the light housing assembly is also an option. I'd suggest consulting YouTube for an explanation of which screws to remove and which ones to loosen.
