failed fridge test
Hi tried keeping it on fridge for testing, this oil does not freeze after keeping in fridge. Which is one of basic test for checking the purity of oil.

Not All Extra Virgin Oils are Alike
Finally a product that delivers! The olive oil industry is untrustworthy for the mere fact they use mumbo-jumbo to confuse the public. It’s pretty much a given within the industry that it’s acceptable to lie about the products sold. The public is under the assumption that if a product states Extra Virgin Olive Oil, then it’s the first pressing of 100% pure oil. 99% of the time, this is not the case. There probably is not one oil sold in stores that is not a blend of some sorts. Even C.O.R. sells blends, with industry accepted word games. Its difficult to find a product that actually delivers on what consumers “think” they’re buying. This product delivers. It’s a great flavor and I do recommend it. It’s frustrating trying to find a product that uses terms to specifically confuse the consumer. The word “pure”, used in advertising, is anything but pure! In industry terms, it means it’s a blend. The education I received while researching oils was astounding. What we, the general public, thinks about healthy options for the oils we use, are anything but, and are used specifically to confuse us. You’d think that food standards would apply in these cases, but they do not. C.O.R. “Reserve” oils are a pure product. It’s difficult to use words to describe this product when the industry uses the same words to confuse the consumer. It’s frustrating. But the “reserve” product is a goo one, in a nut shell, that I will purchase again. To get grossed out, look up “How canola oil is made” on YouTube. 90% of oils sold in stores use heat & chemicals to extract oils. It’s a mechanized mess that looks better suited to grease the gears of the monstrous machines they use to make the garbage they’re feeding us. You’ll never go back to using vegetable oil, again! C.O.R. is an exceptional product. Again, only their “reserve” line is what you’d think is a 100% pure first pressing oil that is not blended. Their “Everyday Oil” is also highly regarded, receiving reviews from respected publications. But even the everyday oil is a blend. So, choose wisely, and study what you’re buying, because what you think you’re buying, is most likely not what is being sold. In closing, this C.O.R. Reserve has an exceptional flavor.

Very Good, But Make Sure The Label Says 100% California-Grown Extra Virgin Olive Oil
With all the negative press about the Italian export brands in the news - and mentioned by others in online reviews, I decided to try this brand, and I like it. I've noticed quite a few negative or just OK reviews here from people who were advised by friends to buy this brand, but complained the olives used were sourced outside the United States. To set the record straight, the California Olive Ranch brand produces different varieties of extra virgin olive oil, some of which are sourced outside the United States. But they also include a variety that IS made from 100% California-grown olives. You have to read the label that identifies them as such. If you're shopping online, read the banner and the description.I haven't tried their other varieties, and I have no doubt they are good. But if you want the 100% California-grown extra virgin olive oil, buy the ones that are labeled that way. Don't buy one of their other varieties and then leave negative reviews because they're not 100% California-grown.
