These are amazing! Ive tried several pods since I decided to stop using fresh ground - only stopping because of convenience tbh. The Delonghi shown here is my machine. Some pods are really tightly packed and it just seems the water cannot force it’s way through and I get a very small amount. These are not pods exactly, more like teabags. They’re quite big and I have to kind of stuff them in the metal pod holder, but I think because it’s loose grounds inside and not compacted tightly the water flows through easier and I can get a bigger cup (mug!). The flavour is great, it’s strong but not crazy, no bitterness, and a decent amount of crema. For the amount of pods you get, and the quality of them this price is insane. Well worth it. And I never write reviews.

Great taste
I found the price of this coffee varies wildly between about 9 pence a cup one day to almost 14 pence a cup the next. At the lower price it's good value for money but at the higher price you'd be better off buying original Senseo coffee. So check the price before you buy.We are used to drinking the coffee from Hema, but since their web shop is closed we needed an alternative. We're actually not big fans of the regular Senseo coffee and also find it quite expensive to buy here in the UK, so we ended up with Amazon's Solimo. We were pleasantly surprised. The flavour is bold, round and has no unpleasant aftertaste. We went for the strong version and it's robust without being bitter. The only downside is that it only comes in little bags with 18 pads each. It would be good if they could make bigger bags which would be even better value and less packaging to go to landfill.

Impressed and Recommended
As an ardent coffee drinker; it is all I drink all day every day, I want to find an alternative to my favourite coffee as they raised the price exorbitantly !This coffee from Amazon Brand - Solimo is one I have tried before in pods and liked.These are like tea bags and as such can used in the same way. I use two in my flask, which I then decant to a cup as I like my coffee hot, and sitting in a cup for very long till it cools is not an option.Hot and strong, I like my coffee.On opening, the bags have a pleasant, almost sweet coffee aromaThe coffee in these bags (or pads as they call them) has a good, strong taste that isn't bitter, nor does it leave a sour taste in the mouth.Its smooth and rich and definitely a brand I will buy again.Highly Recommendedbad aftertaste.

I use these type of coffee pads as coffee bags (coffee's version of the tea bag)
I would have liked to give this product 4 stars but I do not use it in a machine - instead directly in the cup as you would a tea bag. I have been using these pads in this way for many years and was very excited to hear of the arrival of the new specialised coffee bags. Unfortunately they are far too expensive for my day to day use.I agree with the low rating given by some reviewers of this product relating to smell and flavour. I bought the product with the idea that I would use two pads in each cup but found this was not necessary as leaving a pad in the cup (with hot water) for a few minutes (as with tea bags for subtly flavoured tea) will build the strenght of flavour. (I like medium to strong coffee and so use the back of a tea spoon to force water/air through the pad by repeatedly squeezing the pad against the inside of the cup to speed up the flavour strengthening process.) Clearly there is no such possibility with a machine. And there will also be the question of the froth and it's duration plus the lack of strong coffee aroma.Considering all the above, the results have still been much better than I expected. For someone like myself, who drinks black coffee without sugar, this is a good and economical option for heavy day to day use (as coffee bags).

Good replacement to the original pads
I used these as replacements for the original Senseo pads in my Philips sensor coffee machine. They work perfectly fine with no issues, but generally, I find the coffee a bit weak. Therefore, I need to use at least two pads for a good strength coffee (same as with the original ones). All in all, a good choice, and I recommend these

When diluted tastes like pipe cleaner.
I accidently brewed first large cup on 2 cup setting with only one pod. It was not drinkable, the taste was really chemical. Usually when you water down your coffe it becomes weaker, but not chemically tasting and undrinkable. On second try I made a small cup and coffe taste mostly covered the off taste that came through at first try. I hope I'll be able to drink through the bags, but definately will not reorder. As a reference I'm switching from espresso machine where I used mid priced coffe. I was just fed up with the coffe grounds mess in my kitchen and really looked forward to using pads and not generating tons of plastic waste from pods.

queste cialde sono da usare con una macchina dal sistema SENSEO, la quale è diversa dalle macchine normalmente vendute in Italia, in quanto è un sistema venduto principalmente in Germania.La mia compagna è tedesca e quindi quando si è trasferita qui in Italia un anno fa, ha portato anche la sua macchina Philips con sistema SENSEO.A lei questo caffé piace molto ed anche un mio amico italiano l'ha apprezzato.Vi sconsiglio l'acquisto se avete una macchina che è stata create per utilizzare le cialde più piccole e compatte, in quanto il caffé non verrebbe bene.Le cialde più grosse si adattano male e quindi passerebbe acqua dagli spazi creati dal non perfetto adattamento, rendendo il caffé più annacquato.

il caffè viene leggermente annacquato, nel mio caso l'utilizzo è prettamente quello del caffellatte quindi va bene,le cialde sono un pò grandi rispetto al diametro della mia DE LONGHI ICONA ECO, ma io non ho grosse pretese e le ho comunque usate tutte, è possibile che io le riacquisti se in offerta. la spedizione è stata rapidissima e c'è possibilità di scegliere tra vari gusti .
