Highly recommend this book for parents.

This is my first book on parenting and I'm totally impressed. Initially thought or felt that the methods mentioned in this book might apply only to kids in Western culture. Damn me, it just worked like a magic in my household (I'm from India). My wife was able to notice clear difference in my approach towards my kid and I was able to notice the change in my kids behaviour and his approach towards me. I strongly recommend this book for every parent. I've almost become like an ambassador of this book. Every theory, every concept is accompanied by examples and illustrations. A good investment overall.

This is a sound and nice book on parenting

I had the best of intent and was trying everything with my kids. But something was not right. God bless Dr. Haim Ginott!! His understanding of what works with kids is wonderful. It is working like magic for me. I just don't expect it to work for me as a parent only, it is also making me a better person!! I am glad I chanced upon this book and another wonderful book by his protege Adele Faber. Thank you to both!! Abhinav

a classic reference book , old but gold. The copy I received has very bad paper quality

provides clear understanding to parents, must read each word...conceptual clarity and focus on fundamentals, mostly ignored by most of the parents.
