My All-Time Favorite Writing Instrument
So the Zebra Sarasa Gel ink Pens in 0.5mm are my all-time favorite writing instrument. I'm a bit of a pen snob, so I don't take that statement lightly. It's an incredibly smooth pen, but you can feel it drag across the paper, which is really for clean-looking print. The pen itself has a nice barrel-size with a comfortable grip, and I find that my hand doesn't as badly as it does with others pens I've used, considering I'm a bit of a heavy writer, and that it is ultimately a very comfortable pen to write with. The ink itself is nice and bold, it dries quickly, and I've never experienced it smearing or smudging while note-taking or working out math problems. I'm also a huge fan of Zebra Mildliners, and I find that when highlighting something I've recently written down, only when I press firmly with the Mildliner or make multiple, fast runs over the ink does smudge or smear, if at all. As a heavy writer, I find that this pen doesn't railroad at all, insuring that my print is bold and crisp, even when drawing long, fast lines. These pens aren't perfect by any means, and I do experience one problem with them: Sometimes when writing, the ball mechanism on the tip of the pen will stick for a bit, never more than say a single letter, but I do find this rather annoying at times. I'm not sure if this has to do with me pressing too firmly on the paper with the pen, or if this is a fault of the tip mechanism. Either way, this issue is far from enough to warrant demoting this pen from its position as my favorite, as it's extremely infrequent.

My go to pens.
I’m a nurse and absolutely love these pens. They rarely smear and write so smoothly.

New Fav!
My new favorite pen. It writes smoothly, it is pretty inky without it spreading everywhere, and dries the fastest of any pen I have tried. The only drawback for me is the cheap feel of the actual pen. I’ve included a picture of the test I performed with it compared to some other popular pens. I always highlight before writing the information, but it is not good with highlighters. Please also keep in mind that this is like the cheapest notebook it doesn’t even have a brand! Paper quality is also very important for pens to preform their best.

Necessity's
I did not realize how much I needed these pens until I got them. The ink goes on smooth to the paper and it's just so NICE. The pen is comfortable in my hand and the ink last for what feels like forever.

Sarasa is the best gel pen for everyday use
The Zebra Sarasa is the "everyday" pen I keep around the house and office. Comfortable in hand, smooth line, and---important for lefties---quick-drying ink. I am a pen freak and use my favorite fountain pens for most writing, but these are great for jotting down quick notes (or handing off to someone else who will probably steal it).As for the details: my order was "sold by Amazon." The box reflects that the pens were Made In Mexico, and the box was sealed shut with an "Amazon" sticker on it. My one star off is because I find this 0.5mm size not as pleasant to write with as my usual 0.7mm medium-tip gel pens: the fine tip on this one feels scratchy on the paper to me.

Fast Drying
I like these pens because they are fast drying and dark. When writing, it is nice and smooth. Each pen lasts me for about a month to two working in an office job. Ink does not bleed that much to the back.

Twenty-two Years Teaching College, and Sarasa is my Favorite Pen by Far
I have taught 22 years at the college, and this is my all-time pen. I have tried tons, and this is absolute best one for me.The ink comes out easy and fast, and it dries before my hand makes a smudge. This is not common with gel pens. The others ones I've tried have smeared. That is a key consideration. When I use pens almost every day of the world, then I need a comfortable pen. This one is the right size for my hands (large - my finger length is at the size to palm a basketball though my ring size is 7.5). The black cushion really does make a huge difference and takes the major stress off my hands.Another feature that is nice that the top part of the barrel is clear. I know when I'm getting close to empty on ink and can plan accordingly. It is no fun at all to be making grading notes and suddenly end up out of ink.Sarasa also has a multi-color set which I love. The colors are pretty, and I can color code. For example, I can use a certain color for all run on sentences or sentence fragments so that students know where they need to do extra work.It has been about five years since I have used any pen other than Sarasa. They honestly are THAT good. I use them at work and home. So, if you need a comfortable pen for lots of writing, then this one is thumbs up.

Best pen for anyone who struggles with smearing ink
Even though I'm right handed I write like a lefty, dragging three fingers across the page. I get constant smearing with most other pens; this is one of the few pens I've found that writes smoothly without smearing. I'm not a fan of rubber grips on pens, so I use these pens as refills for a few Pentel EnerGel Alloys that I already had. The plunger does stick when you go to retract the tip on the two newest Alloys, but my original Alloy doesn't have this problem. Hopefully the other two will stop sticking over time. I can't recommend these pens enough, even if you use them as refills for other pens. Would be nice if I could buy just refills, but I've put other compatible refills into the plastic housing and given them to family members that aren't as picky about their pens. Pentel's EnerGel refills work fine in the plastic Zebra housings.

Nice and Dark
I meant to order the Zebra Sarasa Clip but chose these ones by accident. At first, I didn't like them because I noticed a difference in the texture as these ones are a little drier but after sucking it up I started using them and after writing for a bit they warm up and the ink comes out smooth. The best thing about this pen though is how rich and dark the blue it and how it never skips. I'll definitely order these again but miss the clip mechanism of the Sarasa Clip.

Las amo!
Me encantaron y están durando mucho más de lo que esperaba. La tinta de secado rápido es lo mejor para mí que regularmente embarro toda la página. Nunca había sido tan feliz con una pluma, jaja.

Ticker than 0.5
Arrived in a different box and they are thicker than 0.5. I have many Zebra pens and these feel and look different as well. Won’t buy them again
