Terrible quality the material was rotting so I returned it. I received a new piece which started breaking up. Again the material was degenerating. Concidering it was the second time, there is no use returning it. I most likely will get another defective piece. For the price I paid I am disappointed. Service was good but the material was bad. The question I ask is whether this is a rode product.

Outer wire coat wear out easily not good quality

Very poor quality of the cable..The connector sleeves break very easily as if they are corroded.. Rubber or fiber whatever is used for connectors is very poor..I have returned the product..

Very good for Rode NTG microphoneIts a shame that a microphone of 280,00 euros comes with a very short cable.Sometimes i use the Rode NTG as head over microphone.I have Shure SM7B for voice over but sometimes i need the Rode NTG when i make video and need a microphone near by me,on those moments i use this cable.Its a very long and very good cable

Avevo necessità di avere un cavo abbastanza lungo per poter utilizzare il mio microfono Rode Videomic Pro+ su uno stativo con boom, staccato dalla macchina fotografica.Le scelte possibili erano 2: la prolunga Rode VC1 o questo cavo Rode SC8.Alla fine ho scelto questo cavo nonostante costasse il doppio della prolunga perché:- Mi offre 6 metri di cavo contro i 3 metri della prolunga;- Mi da più sicurezza sul campo perché è un cavo unico piuttosto che due cavi (quello corto del microfono + la prolunga).Ritengo che il prezzo di 28€ sia un po' eccessivo ma alla fine, utilizzandolo per lavoro, non potevo scendere a compromessi e l'ho acquistato.Per ora sono molto soddisfatto.

comparing the wire you recieve with the rode mics then with this. Its horrible quality. Don't waste your money.

Il marche... MAIS...C'est un simple câble TRRS! Nullement un patch TRS... Ce genre de comportement est inacceptable et TRÈS décevant... Ma confiance en Rode est briser... Sérieusement, c'est n'importe quoi!

I got this cable along with a rode mic to use with my i phone 7 plus. You will also need your white i phone adapter to plug the end of the cable into, and the adapter plugs into your phone. I taped the mic to a pole and do interviews with it above subjects' heads. The cable has no interference noise and has worked well.
