I recently decided to switch to dark brown. My natural color is dark blonde/light brown and I have a lot of gray peppered through.I followed the directions and primed my hair with color prep first.It was so easy and my hair is super shiny and the color is gorgeous!

This product deposits gold tones onto the hair. It may appear colorless on dark hair, but not on lightened hair. On a platinum blonde test strand, Senna deposited gold tones. In the attached image, the left strand is platinum hair treated with Senna. (The middle is one application of Sunrise Blonde and the right is two applications.) I do think it has health benefits to the hair by coating the strand and if going darker to a more yellow blonde is a goal then this could be a healthy way to do that.
