ecoSAVER Optional Intex Adapter Kit

I needed to connect my intex pool pump to run 4  GAME 4512 SolarPro XD1 - Solar Heater for Above Ground Pools .The problem is of course that the larger intex pumps use a very large I believe 2 1/2" hose were the Heaters use 1 1/8" or 1 1/4" hose.1 1/8" hose is of course a non standard size and is a total pain in the butt to track down. I found a 1 1/8" hose designed for boat sanitation or livewell applications that works great. (much heavier duty than the cheap plastic hose that is used for pools.I have 2 issues with this product first the picture is not accurate. The item actually has 4 steps or sizes but only 3 are usable.*The sizes are1 1/4"1 1/2"* 1 3/4" (this may not be very usable as there is only 1/2" to support the hose I'm not sure you would be able to get a decent grip with a hose clamp on this size&2"My second complaint about this product is that it doesn't really attach very well. It goes on ok but you can't tighten it very far before it stops. This is true even though the flat inner surface is still almost 1/4" from the pumps flat surface that has the o-ring on it. My solution, I had some leftover rubber washers from the heaters I used 3 of them per fitting and then wrapped the threads on the pump with plumbers tape.It works, it looks ok, but in reality this product is cheaply made and way overpriced. BUT if your in a situation were you NEED this there are not too many other choices out there. Game makes what looks like a better adapter but Amazon has been out of stock on it for over a month.

I bought these to help me tidy up the plumbing of my Ipool 2 above ground exercise pool. The picture seems to show two diameters where the hose can attach and there are also "O" rings in the picture. The items that were sent have no "O" rings and there are 4 diameters where the hose can attach. The threaded part does fit the Intex male threads so I can make them work. They seem to be just a black version of the white ones shown elsewhere on the site.

I bought these to hook up my intex pump to a sand filter. The pictures are not actual product. They have four different hose size attachments not two.they are kinda pain in the butt. They leak unless you use like a water proof paste. Like I said this was the only place i could find them. so if you need them buy them. if not dont.

We have Intex 16'x48" ultra frame pool with the intex saltwater pump. I would not buy these fittings again. First of all they do not look like the picture (they would probably work better if they did), instead they are just a very simple female thread with solid graduated hose connections. The host connections do not have the little ridge that helps seal the connection at each level, they are just smooth. Also the plastic is like hard ABS or PVC or something. Real basically no matter how tight you tighten a hose clamp it will still leak. Also, the thread actually don't fully work on our Intex pump. The pump has a seal on the facing side of the male threaded hose, and these will not screw on far enough to touch that o-ring to seal. Instead, hypothetically, you would use some plumbers tape to seal the threads... this does not work. We ended up cutting half the thread off with a hack saw so it would seat against the O-ring. That works, but the connection still leaks from the hose side because it is impossible to get a hose clamp tight enough.Needless to say we would not buy these again and would highly recommend finding a better option.

The two 20' panels are different lengths, about 3" difference, when rigidly conneted as per instructions one panel will not extend to its full length and bulges up. It would be preferable if the connections were flexible, can the supplier help?Ron Hallam [email protected]

The ones that arrived were not the ones in the picture and they did not fit. This is not the first or second place that we have tried to purchase these fittings and each time they have been the wrong ones.

Advertised as necessary for use with Intex pool and filter; however, it would not fit my Intex 16' diameter pool or the hoses that came with the Intex pump. Found the adapters were simply not needed with my stock setup.
