Dr. Smith's Caregiver's Choice Touch Free Adult Barrier Spray, 6 oz

When you spray it on, hold your breathe! It has a really strong smell & it gets everywhere. I wanted something where I didn't have to get gooey stuff all over my hands, but I switched back to a cream-based product after a couple of bottles of this. It works, but smelling & inhaling it/coughing wasn't working for us.

Been using it for my toddler when he gets really bad diaper rash and doesn’t want to let us even touch his bum. It’s not the best, but it’s better than nothing? It does have kind of a weird smell to it, though

I used to buy the "butt paste" under different brands, basically all some sort of diaper rash ointment with an oil/petroleum jelly base. It got everywhere or stained clothes. This stuff is a thing of beauty and I wish I'd have found it sooner.Would be nice to have a trigger to pull vs pushing down, only for dexterity purposes when it comes to applying to certain areas of one's own body.. but I manage just fine. Does come out a little on the chilly side, so that would have been nice to know first time trying it.. Works wonders though. Stays on without all the mess of other creams/ointments spreading due to heat buildup and having that runny melting feeling.

Caregiver for my spouse who's bed bound in diapers. This is one of my best finds. A must have.

The can is half full but the sprayer is not working and you can't return the product. So beware. You are paying film price for half a can of available product.

I've tried multiple remedies for chafing: Balmex, medicated micronazole powders, Ammens powder, monkey butt powder, a solid bar style remedy (looks like a deodorant stick). Some better than others, but none actually solved problem. This one worked, and quickly. I like the spray for application, as it keeps your hands clean and it's easy to spray. I use it standing in the shower to contain any mess. Only drawback is the vaguely medicinal smell, but this stuff worked in a near-miraculous way, so I'll just put up with the odor.

With the spray application it is extremely effective. And coverage is great.
