Used these for the first time today on mostly dry leaves and a smaller amount of wet leaves. Worked equally well on both. I found the best way was to brush or rake the leaves into piles then just pick them up with the grabbers. I wish I’d had these years ago as they make the job so quick and easy and you don’t have to bend down so far. I wore my gardening gloves with them as the plastic was a bit uncomfortable on the back of my hand without. But seeing as I normally wear gloves for gardening it’s hardly an issue.

This gadget makes short work of clearing up Autumn leaves enabling huge handfuls to be picked up each time. I wish that I bought one years ago. It is lightweight, made of hard plastic and should last forever. It is sort of worn like a glove best using a garden glove, although you can use it like a handle: whatever you prefer.

Great for leaf collecting, however saw them at half the price in Wickes today!

These grabs are just the job, they are stiff enough to pick up dry and wet grass from scarifying a lawn. They are comfortable, perhaps a bit more plastic where your palm goes would make it more comfortable to hold but nothing a good pair of gloves didn't sort out.

They do the job, but they are quite uncomfortable to hold and a serrated edge as most other designs seem to feature would probably make it easier to grab the leaves. The plastic seems reasonably tough, though I don't expect them to last a lifetime at this price.

When my newly purchased leaf mulcher did not, in the height of the leaf falling season and with 5 massive trees I had to find a solution fast. I found it in these. Excellent sturdy plastic big grabbing "hands" that just cleanly scoop up the leaves without your own hands getting dirty. It dispensed with my problem in no time and I shall keep using. There are cheaper ones but you get what you pay for and I found these were truly perfect to get the job done.
