Worked well on my aluminum storefront doors. I opted to put them on the inside and outside. Unique to my doors, but it was unusually difficult getting them on. Not a fault of the product, but because the inside structure of the door was unpredictable. Thick aluminum, but bits of heavy steel framing and lock mechanisms in the bottom. Every screw was an adventure- some were self drilling sheet metal screws, others I had to use machine screws and tap the threads, some had to be short machine screws. Recommend looking at how the door is put together before you start drilling, and being flexible with where you put the screws.There isn’t enough room to use hex head screws, because there isn’t enough clearance for the socket to not bump into the channel that holds the brush, if you’re trying to get the screws in the middle of the slot’s travel so you have adjustability. Has to be screw heads, and they can’t be wide heads, like lath screws. Just regular pan head. Sorry, forgot the screw size.I cut them to size with a hacksaw, easy to do.

Worked good as a basic door sweep

Very well made door sweep. Perfect for my exterior garage door to help keep leaves and pests out. Make sure to trim it just right or your door might get a little stuck. Once I got it on right it was perfect. Does the job, was easy to install and looks good. I paired this with a floor mounted door insulator and now my door opening is fully protected from water, leaves and pests.

I needed a sweep for porch door to keep bugs and insects out. The advantage of this type of sweep with bristles is it gives way more than stiff material ones and my porch isn't very level. Easy to install, seems very sturdy and does the job.

The brushes were not to bushy, expected more thicker brush fibers

If you live in the deep south, you may be all too well acquainted with "palmetto bugs", which are basically German cockroaches on steroids. I bought this door sweep not to keep out the cold, but to keep out the bugs! It won't stop the small ones, but it will prevent the adults from cruising under the door and around your room at night.It installs easily. Just make sure to crimp the end if you have to cut it to fit.

Good product at a good price. It was too large to work for my application.

We ordered this for our most used door to enter the house. The house is almost 200 years old and nothing is straight. There was a huge draft at the bottom of the door. This has completely taken care of it. It was easy to install and is holding up well on a door that is used by a family of 9, lots of opening and closing by kids going in and out.
