New pads for brake & clutch CJ7
Identical to 1985 OEM Jeep CJ7 pads, but material is subtle, unlike hardened old rubber pads.

In Hot Water
I wore out the stock pads on my CJ in the mid 90's when I was a teenager. I tried to replace them a few times but they never would stay in place so I abandoned using them for almost 20 years. Funny how something I'd given up on as a kid is now utterly simple to do. And it delights me realizing how silly I've been all these years, knowing full well what to do, but just being stubborn due to the extreme hassle I'd gone through as a teen trying to replace my Jeeps pedal pads. I simply didn't know how to do it right. All that finger pinching, slipping hands stabbing themselves against sharp metal, fingernails feeling as though they were about to pop off, and the defeated feeling when your hands no longer have the strength to try and slip them back on again and again. I didn't want to do it anymore...for 20 years. I see this ad and order them, maybe a little uneasy about it but they're cheap so whatever. Anyway, long story shot, put them in hot tap water for about 5 minutes, bring the whole mess out there to your Jeep and then slip the now warm, soft pads on with ease, and without stretching them out or tearing. After you get them on knead them, sort of like clay, to position them for the best fit. Let them cool down before you go on a drive so they stiffen back up. You won't be able to get them off without pain (or a razor blade).Side Note: On my 85 CJ-7 I had to cut a portion of the brake pad to fit the bar coming off the left side of the pedal. A cutout is provided for the bar on the clutch, which leads me to believe these are wrongly titled as "Brake Pedal Pads", and should be called "Clutch Pedal Pads". Even so, it fits tightly with the cut I put in it anyways. I'm giving them 4 stars although I do feel the ad needs to be fixed.

Does not work for clutch
It's supposed to fit the clutch but doesn't. It falls off all the time.
