Med SpecASO Speed Lacer Ankle Stabilizer, Black, X-Large

This is a very nice brace for the money. It gives a lot of support and has enough adjustment that you can tailor it to the needs of your own individual foot and ankle. The size runs nice and large. I wear a size 14 shoe and an XL works fine over a thin sock. My only negative thought on this brace is it's a little uncomfortable on a bare foot. I had hoped to be able to wear it around the house and to bed without a sock. The upper part of the brace rubs a little roughly against your leg. I wear a thin sock and turn the top down over the brace and that makes it very comfortable. I like the brace so much I even bought a second one for my other ankle.

I had a sprain on my right foot and it started to get inflamed. So I bought this device to try it. It fit my feet perfectly while it was still inflamed and it helped hold my feet securely. I can adjust to the tightness I want and it does not squeeze my feet hard. However when the inflammation healed, It became too loose to use. It is ok because it has served its purpos.

I bought this product and  McDavid 195 Deluxe Ankle Brace with Strap (Black, X-Large)  a few days apart.The ASO is much easier/quicker to put on and provides very good support.The McDavid is a higher quality build and provides a little bit better support.I am very pleased and would buy again.

...and I own a lot of them. You won't be disappointed in this products ability to stabilize your ankle. And the speed laces make all the difference.

I bought these for my son after he rolled his ankle very bad in football. He told me these are the most comfortable and the most sturdy ankle braces he's ever worn. They are very easy to use, thin enough they can be worn with almost any shoe/cleat and it's almost impossible to roll your ankle while wearing them! Best investment I've made for sports, because he can wear them for any sport! I will never buy another type of ankle brace again.

These don't really protect your ankle. Got a brand new one a couple days ago and first time wearing it, rolled the ankle and destroyed it. Just not enough support
