Hoshizaki SP-5219 Pump Service Kit

The pump was easy to install but is a little noisier than the original. It fit well and works well. Tip: Start by removing the door, then the top, then the back panel to get to the wiring.

My ice maker stopped making ice and after my own troubleshooting and a call to Hoshizaki I determined a bad pump to be the most likely culprit. This pump does not require the capacitor so it's a two in one fix (if the cap was bad this would fix that as well). You do have to add an inline fuse to the control board so that is another step but overall it was easy to install and now I have ice for days !!!. A very cost effective way to solve a potentially expensive problem.

Works fine

We purchased this pump less than 6 months ago. It broke last week. Per this supplier there is only a 90 day warranty. No response to other inquires. DO NOT PURCHASE anything from this supplier. They do not stand behind their product and do not provide any customer service. Would give them no stars if it were an option.
