No Need For Sky Multiroom - If You Can Hide The Cable
I'm really pleased with this piece of kit, it does a great job of splitting 4 source inputs to two separate TV's. In my case I use this with a PS4, SKY HD, Xbox 360 & an Apple TV to split the picture between my living room TV and one in the kitchen with I've just installed on the wall. The box comes with a remote control which allows you to select which source you want to display on which TV, for example Sky in the living room and PS4 in the kitchen. Its also great with Apple TV as I can connect to it from the kitchen with Airplay and display whatever I like. The one downside for some will be that you'll need to run a HDMI cable to your second TV, I bought a 15 metre one from Amazon at the same time.Installation was easy enough for me as I have an under stairs cupboard between the living room and the kitchen so it was easy to feed this through from one room to another without having to worry about hiding cables etc, if your set up isn't as straight forward you might want to think about how you get the cable to your second TV as I can see this being a bit of a hassle for some.Overall for me though this is the perfect solution to get HD TV in the kitchen without the need to subscribe to Sky Multiroom or the hassle of installing a Freeview HD ariel. If you can hide the cables from view its a very neat solution and worth the outlay with the added bonus that 3 other sources can join the party as well, great product

Heavy duty, but seems to do the job
Having been used to soldering together my own 'Y' junctions for 3.5mm stereo jacks, this unit appears to be somewhat overkill. HDMI signals appear to be somewhat more complicated to split and merge than audio signals, so I guess that's the way it is.The unit is nice and solid and looks like it's built to last. The remote control is very straight forward, and there are buttons on the unit to change inputs as well. We use it to take signals from a TV receiver, a DVD machine and a computer, and send them to either a TV or a projector - a job that it does perfectly well. You can view any combination of inputs with any combination of outputs, should you wish to. The audio only appears to be taken from whatever input "output 1" is set to, which is a very slight limitation. This is not the sexiest gadget out there, but it does its rather mundane task perfectly well.

Dont like it
What they don't tell you is that this thing will encrypt your signal, so if like me you have a very early HDMI projector or using a device that is not HDMI 1.4 compatible this is NOT for you. All you will get is a scrambled picture - even if your outputting in the clear.

Great -before Sky got involved
Worked brilliantly for about 2 weeks, then an update from Sky through the HD box stopped it, advised seller who took it back for testing but it worked on theirs so i brought it back but unfortunately still did not work. Seller was great and took it back and gave a full refund but be careful if your Sky box has been recently updated (although this may only be on certailn models, mines an Amstrad)

Several HD items and two monitors to view on?
Wasn't sure about this purchase but loved the idea. It works extremely well and as they say it does exactly was it says on the box.I have an ASRock ION 330 NetTop with a Blu-Ray drive as well as a Blu-Ray player etc in total 3 items all capable of HD viewing I also have a 52" Plasma and a smaller HD monitor mostly for computing, now I can play or work on any item and say which monitor I want to view it on.It is completely compatable with current HDMI codex so having the one viewing going directly into my surround system for viewing onto the large screen is great as I still get the full True Dolby and DTS sound through 7.1 system speakers and I have so far not noticed any degradation in sound or picture quality. I Can even view Blu-Ray DVD's from my Blu-Ray player directly to my small (PC) monitor. The supplied remote works faultlessly and although a little large is easy to understand. My only grip is that every time I turn it on either from standby or from the mains it does tend to try and dictate which Monitor or unit is turned on and assign a monitor to any available unit to an available monitor this can be a little confusing but ok once you realize what is happening. Otherwise five stars. This product is exceptionally good and I would recommend it to those of you that would like to take advantage of full HDMI functionality from several HDMI units to more than one monitor. It saves a lot of space and and a lot cables etc. The design fits in well with most systems too.

Excellent plug and play device
4k input in from my AV processor gives me 4k outputs to both my TV and Projector at the same time. No handshake issues and picture quality is excellent with UHD and HDR signals. Superb value for money.

Excellent product
I am very impressed with this item. It does exactly what it said it would. You can have any of the 4 inputs go to any output. So you can watch Sky on one screen and DVD player on another or Sky on both etc. It comes in a nice neat little box and has a small simple remote control. I have used a splitter on the outputs and that works fine as well. The only slight downfall is that things like Vieralink (automatic input switching with Panasonic products) does not work with this.
