These sandals are really nice looking and obviously made with fine materials. The leather is soft, yet durable and the color is rich. I had to order these twice though. The first order, following the size recommendation that Amazon advised, was 1.5 sizes too large. I wear a size 10.5 in most shoes, 10 in others. The first order I received was more like an 11.5. I sent them back and ordered a size less and they fit perfectly now. I should have read the reviews more closely because many people said the same thing. These sandals cost more than some of the other Fisherman sandals out there, but the quality of these is worth the money.

These sandals fit perfectly, they are made of excellent quality leather, light and never get old. This is my third pair and I love them even more. They look wonderful and make you feel like walking on air. Thank you Spain (Andalusia) for bringing civilization to the world.

I bought these as a replacement for an old pair of Johnson & Murphy sandals that looked pristine, but the glue that held the soles on was old and the bottoms were literally falling off. The cost of repair was going to be over $100, so I went with these. They appear to be extremely well made. They are expensive and they look like it. Very comfortable. The thing I thought was odd is the Velcro closure. I thing it would’ve looked better to have a buckle. The sizing is quite a bit off. I had to reorder a whole size smaller because my feet were swimming in my normal size.

Beautifully made. Perfect fit for my narrow feet. Most comfortable sandals I've ever worn. Extremely light. However the stitching on ankle strap has a very sharp end on both sides. Feels like there are a couple of briar thornes scratching the top of my ankles on both sides when wearing barefoot. No problem with socks. I'lll have to take them to the shoe shop to see if that can be fixed. Otherwise I would have rated them 5 star.

The sandals look great and fit nicely. It is light and comfortable to sit or stay. But It is a real challenge to do much walking - the soles are very hard, harder than I ever had on my dressy sandals (the last pair was Johnson &Murphy). Walking on any hard pavement echoes on my spine at any step. If you are young and your spine is in a good shape, it might not be an issue. If you are older, get them as your summer office shoes or for a party, not for walkingNote also odd sizing due to questionable conversion from European sizes. The size I got was 8.5-9, which as I guess is a conversion from European 42. I wear 9.5-10 and the sandals are perfect for me. It is certainly not real 8.5-9.

Die Sandalen sind größengetreu und passen mir (Gr. 42) perfekt. Das Oberleder ist angenehm und nicht zu weich, wodurch man einen guten Halt hat. Der Riemen über dem Spann ist lang genug, so das die Schuhe für Menschen mit hohem Spann geeignet sind. Auch positiv ist die Innensohle aus strukturiertem Glattleder.Insgesamt sehr zu empfehlen. Der Preis ist angemessen - finde ich. Qualität gibt es nun mal nicht zum Discountpreis.
