Semolina - like it should be. Love it!
It is sometimes hard to find semolina in the grocery market. Ordered this over amazon. The packaged amount is not huge, roughly 1 lb, but the semolina is top quality. It is grainy, not too fine, not too coarse ---- juuuust right!! My special recipes all work beautifully. From mow "Melissa", is my go-to brand. I reorder any time I run low. Glad, that such simple, good ingredients still exist. I love it!

If you are making home Pizza use this when putting on the sheet
I bought an Ooni Pizza make (which works great). I had been using just flour to cover the pizza peel so it slides off into the oven. The high temps actually burn normal flour and it adds a bitter taste to the bottom of your pizza. This flour takes a higher temp and doesn't leave that bitter taste. It does still burn, but without the after taste.

Item arrived damaged
The media could not be loaded. When I opened the box and took the item out, it was leaking semolina all over my kitchen floor and counter. The product was opened or unsealed at the bottom. Had to throw it out because it was no longer fresh. One star is the lowest I could select.

Give it an extra 25s stir and switch off the heat. The mixture should be poured into small lidded containers or mason jars for individual portions (I use recycled glass yogurt pots which come with aThanks Melissa for this semolina, I have been long looking for one which fits this recipe well!

Great for getting pizza off the peel
I bought this solely because I was having a devil of a time getting homemade pizza from my wooden peel to the baking stone. I saw several suggestions that mentioned using coarse semolina and since I could not find any in my local groceries, I ordered this small bag. It works great!. No sticking, does not smoke like corn meal and falls off the stone and peel when time to clean up. For your peace of mind, I recommend it highly
