Good book to signal bedtime but not a riveting read
Love the illustrations but it is quite a dull read. I'm guessing that's the intention of the book though; it certainly makes me tired reading it to my son. It is a good signal for my little boy that he is going to bed as he often gets himself into bed once we've finished it.

Not his best
While I thought We Have a Plan and Owl Who Lost Mummy were excellent, this one doesn't seem so good. But my child of 2.5 is happy with it, so who's to say.

4 Stars
Really lovely bed time story that actually had me yawning whilst reading it! There isn't a huge plot to the story but I think thats the point, a great book to get your little one to wind down before bed.

Nice story for bedtime
Its a cute story. Not as captivating as the other stories but still very nice to read for bedtime.

More please.!
Having discovered this author for my 20 month grandson; l highly recommend his books. Simple, engaging and beautifully illustrated. The pity is that the author Chris Haughton has only produced four in total. Perfect to start a small child library of favourites.

Charming sleepy story
A lovely sleepy story - perfect for the last book of the night. It still has the charm and fun of their other work but manages to be calm and relaxing.

So lovely
A very sweet bedtime story, if you can get through it without falling asleep yourself! Gorgeous illustration.
