Exactly what I expected / wanted
A more than adequate tool for the job; quality seems to be far superior to the price paid and I anticipate that this will be a welcome addition to my collection of serviceable bushcraft knives. It seems that Mora are the accepted standard for budget-friendly bushcraft blades and I think the Hultafors are a very close facsimile. I honestly can't see any significant difference in quality or craftsmanship. The knife arrived sharp enough for all but the most fussy user - I quickly put a finer edge on it with a ceramic stone and leather strop. I'm not sure how much this will have made a difference in its ability to begin performing right away had I an immediate use for this knife. I have big hands and I find this knife very comfortable to grip. It isn't a showcase blade - it is functional and business-like. If you have a requirement for a utilitarian and functional bushcraft / working knife then this should satisfy your requirements very well.I am very satisfied and would have no concerns recommending this knife to someone who wants a reliable blade at a very wallet-friendly price. Thank you Hultafors.

The handle is extremely sturdy and comfortable and feels great in the hand
A really high quality durable knife. The handle is extremely sturdy and comfortable and feels great in the hand. The knife does not feel like it will slip or pop out of your hand, even when you are using it in the wet because of the great anti-slip finish on the handle. The blade is solid, very sharp and easy to maintain. It keeps its edge for a long time and is generally easy to re-sharpen.The sheath is well made and fits easily onto a belt. The knife clips into the sheath and feels safe and secure when inside; there is certainly no fear of it falling out whilst you are working.A great knife for the camper, woodworker or hunter at a very good price.

Quality product, great price
Solidly made with quality steel blade and sturdy plastic handle, which fits comfortably in the hand. Blade very sharp and is capable of maintaining sharpness - good quality carbon steel. Solid plastic sheath which has nice button attachment, knife snaps in safely and feels secure. Has been used for greenwood carpentry, which I reckon it's perfect for. Not the most beautiful hand- made knife, but a solid, honest, quality product at a very good price.

Hultafors craftsman
This knife is brilliant. I like it so much and its so cheap, I really want to get another one for no reason other than as a spare- I had to stop myself from ordering the heavy duty one as well as I have no use for it. This knife is heavy duty in my opinion, as well as sharp and very practical. I have a number of knives which are now redundant!Extremely good value for money sturdy and secure sheath and I consider its worth three times the price! In fact, I'll probably find an excuse to buy the whole Hultafors craftsman range before long! One observation - the handle shape is very comfortable and gives a good grip, but the guard (which is ideal for general use) makes this a bit bulky for finer woodcraft work.

You won't be disappointed purchase more than one!
Very good quality knives, don't let the price put you off, I purchased two! I'm a stalker of roe deer so the idea of orange handles works well as it will reduce the loss rate I have with other knife with more natural coloured handles, the handles themselves are very good for comfort and grip even when wet or covered in blood the blade is also good and holds a very good workman like edge and is easy to maintain, as the blade is carbon steel it will tarnish if it's not oiled I use Vaseline. The scabbard is well designed with retention in the neck of the sheath this will even prevent the loss of the knife if inverted! The loop attachement is of a Scandinavia type in that you can also attached the sheath by a button, very practical in size and use I put mine in the dishwasher after use as my carcasses go into the food chain, I can't recommend this product high enough. (If you don't want a tarnished blade the purchase a stainless steel version of this knife)

Get it !
Bought this as a second knife for food preparation only for camping so there is no contamination . This is great quality knife at bargain price . I've attached my DC3 sharpener with a ranger band to the sheath ( good quality sheath too) . Only thing I didn't like it it stains very quick ( with fresh lemon ) but for the price I can live with that . And extremely sharp too.I don't know why would pay extra and get the one with the comfort handles as this one is comfortable enough

Nice blade, nice price ......
For the price I challage anyone to do better. Perfect for something you dont mind putting to work and don't mind having to tidy the blade after. Goodish build quality but the finish could be better but other than that is a great little knife that does the job. Compared to the Mora it's cheaper in all aeras but is is half the price. The blade for you guru's will need a sharpen and I have found does hold the edge well enough. Also recommended for putting with or in your prepping gear you don't visit too often!!!!
