underrated series! check it out. it's a cult series in the rest of the world. Saint seiya 4 ever. love it!

Great manga that I never had the chance to read all those years ago. Though I've watched the anime (and enjoyed it quite a lot), nothing can quite compare to a creator's original vision for his work.So, here I am reading it. Really sets the stage for an epic struggle between the young heroes of the story.

It took a long time to find this volume as it had been sold out in my country. Since the new ones are very expensive i had to buy a used copy. The copy i bought was however not in the best condition as the pages were bent and had already yellowed. Nevertheless it is a good classic manga to read if you are a manga efficionado and want to read one of the milestones in the history of manga and anime. For Saint Seiya fans this is of course a must!

I bought this as a gift for my husband and he loved it. It is true that the translation is not very good, especially some names but that doesn't affect the content. The book was in very good condition.

Saint Seiya rocks. The spirit within the story, the characters, and the art is infectious. And it's just super fun.

車田正美原作「聖闘士星矢」集英社刊全２８巻シリーズの各巻と内容は同じです。日本の単行本より大きくＤＶＤケースくらいの大きさです。カバーが無く見かけはコンビニ廉価版みたいです。日本の単行本と同じ右開きで読めます。内容はほぼ忠実に英訳されているようです。難しい単語とかは特に見あたらないので日本のファンにはすんなり読めると思います。タイトルがKNIGHTS OF THE ZODIAC、シャイナの必殺技がTHUNDER COBRA、沙織がPRINCESS SIENNA、氷河の星座がキグナスではなくSWANになっているところを見ると、米国で放送されたアニメ版と合わせたと思われます。表紙内側カバーにあった作者のコメントも訳され、同じ写真つきで巻末に収録されています。
