I was looking at fancy 304 stainless steel mesh tea infusers, etc. But then I suddenly remembered from my "hippie" days--cloth tea bags, muslin mesh. Simple. FAR from fancy. Re-useable--oh hell yeah, because they're washable and dry quickly. Do they get stained? Of course--they're cloth. But they stand the test of time. A set of 12 will last me a long long time, has minimal impact on the environment and is every bit as safe and clean as the 304 stainless steel.

Lightweight, inexpensive, work great for bulk teas. Not the most rugged construction, but fine for the purpose. I’ve re-used the first one about 6 or 8 times for cold brewed herbal tea. Still holding up. 23 to go - the set will last for a couple years! One star off for the fraying inner seam that material gets stuck in, and for the strings which fray as well. I tied knots in the ends to prevent that, and turn them inside-out under running water to easily clean. I'm happy with the purchase.

These little guys are the perfect size for a cup of tea. They are definitely reusable. I have not had them long enough to know how long, but I think quite a long time. I have used them with Mint and Red Clover so far and I just love them.
