Danner Men's Springfield Low 3" ESD NMT Ankle Boot

Just got these for work as a machinist/cnc operator. I'm on my feet all day on finished concrete and I need protection from moving large steel panels around. They fit true to shoe size. They look great despite being slightly mis-shapen due to the safety toe. Almost all steel/safety toe boots and shoes suffer from this, though. The toes are oversized for room, which is appreciated. The insoles aren't the best but easily replaced. Danner makes great boots, I've had a few pairs when I was in the army and I hope these shoes reflect the quality I know they had in the past. Only time will tell. But my first impression is I'm happy with my purchase, so far.(Update) October 11 2018 - The non-slip soles are good on finished concrete. Still comfy. Stitching is holding up. But, unfortunately, two of the eyelet grommets have fallen apart, one each shoe in different places. The leather seems strong enough and decent quality to compensate for this, so I'll continue to wear them. From five stars to four I guess.

Love these boots lasted me over 2 years in Swiss machine shop, very comfortable oil slip resistant, but needing replacement after 2 years, due to the oil

I have not worn them long enough to provide a detailed review, but so far they are quite nice. They look good, tho i dont care about that. Some do. Fairly light. And i must add that i have to use a prescription orthotic in them, so i can't be totally fair in reviewing them. I really do think that this a really good shoe (boot). With my inserts they feel great, and i have no doubt they would feel just as good with anyone that only needs the shoe as is. And the fit seems to be on spot.

Shoe narrower than expected. Sole was also narrow. Very disappointed it was made in Viet Nam and cost so much.

I wore Danner Acadia boots for a couple of decades in law enforcement. When I needed a pair of shoes more supportive than sneakers I went straight for the Danner's. Fit is perfect, feet don't hurt, lower back pain tree reduced......just what I wanted.

Inner and outer lace eyelet separated after only 7 months of use. Previous pair of Danners lasted 2 years without any issues.

I tried on Keen and Colombia but didn't fit right. Thank goodness for Amazon's return policy. I wanted reputable boots in a form of shoes for everyday walking. I've had Danner boots for military and law enforcement and love them! I was skeptical about Danner shoes, but this pair surprised me! I wear it often and sometimes go hiking with these shoes instead of boots. It's a solid, well built pair of shoes, just like their boots. I highly recommend it!
