Refreshing, bright flavor
I was not too sure what this "Caribbean" flavor would be like. It has a great, flavor for a summer AM tea and iced during the afternoons.

Lovely blend, but not for everyone
Personally I love this tea. I'm a fan of fruity teas, floral teas, and combinations of the two--and if this describes you too, you're the target demographic for this tea. To me this tea tastes like being in a flower garden that has a tree full of ripe guavas. To my husband, it smells like trash. He gags whenever I brew it. Therefore I wouldn't recommend this as a gift (unless you know the receiver's taste pretty well) in case their sense of smell is anything like my husband's. This tea has a strong character, so I think most people will either love it or hate it.

Tastes "alright", smells good, then VERY bad
-Have a plan in place to store the used leaves outdoors. I wish I was joking... This tea is ok-to-average tasting, no real complaints there. But: The passion fruit smell is startlingly potent, and will fill your kitchen/garage/wherever tea leaves go in your house/ with the smell of passion fruit funk.... and it's gross, but I have to say it: like a cat ... did his business in there. Part of his business, anyway. These two smells share some of the same compounds, and sadly, the funk part of the passion fruit scent {in this product} is the part that perniciously remains behind and lingers for days, making me think of pet accidents in the house. I sealed the most recent cup's leaves in a freezer bag, and into the trash... It managed to smell through the bag and fill part of my house, anyway. I wish the fruit part of passion fruit scent would remain also, that would balance out the ... compounds I mentioned earlier.

My favorite tea
I LOVE this tea, it became my favorite after drinking it almost every day at a bakery I used to work at. Unfortunately they don't sell it in tea bags anymore, you have to buy it loose leaf and bag it yourself. But it's worth it. It's a nice light tea.

Not as good.................
Caribe is a favorite of mine but I would like to say that the tea sachets have a differnt, better taste than the loose tea. I do not know why. As I write this I am drinking a warm cup of loose leaf Caribe and it is fine. I believe I just like the sachets better. I cannot explain the taste of this tea but it is so good and flavorful. I would recommend this anytime.

Perfect morning start!
I have enjoyed caribe flavor tea for many years. As tea shops where I could find it have closed, I have been disappointed. The last tea shop to have carried it closed and I was afraid I would not find it again. I was delighted to find that Amazon carries Harney & Sons' caribe loose leaf and immediately ordered a tin. It did not disappoint. It has both black and green teas and a wonderful flavor. I sip my tea as I fill our this rating. Love it!

Good flavor, not impressed with quality
Pros: Good flavor, good smell. Easy to drinkCons: Length of leaves was minimal, seemed like everything was ground up. Maybe I got bottom of the batch or maybe it’s the type. All other teas from Harney have been good leaf quality. These 4 oz tins don’t ship well in soft envelopes, try to order with other items
