Fabio's American Home Kitchen: More Than 125 Recipes With an Italian Accent

We purchased the cookbook because we love Fabio. Hubs and I have done 1 of his online at-home cooking classes, and we loved him on his season of Top Chef (thanks Hulu).Definitely read his intro and kitchen notes. We are by no means fancy at home chefs and a) his recipes are super easy to follow and b) the ingredients are easy to find at the local grocery store or Walmart.Oh, and as the title says - we have a toddler at home and he has enjoyed the 3 recipes we’ve tried so far. Looking forward to making our way through the rest of the recipes

I saw Fabio on one of the morning shows and decided to give his cookbook a try. I'm pretty happy with it so far. It's a very nice book. The recipes are simply eclectic; a sampling of different cuisines with an Italian flare. You'll find everything from the classics (i.e. Buttermilk Fried Chicken, Chicken Pot Pies, Skillet Corn Bread) to the more exotic (i.e. Curried Chicken Thighs with Pineapple Mint Skewers, Poached Eggs with Espresso-Glazed Bacon), and lots in between. There's something in here for everyone. I've tried two recipes so far with delicious results.As for the book format itself, it is very well written; easy to read font, well organized recipes and beautiful color photographs. You can see not just the finished dish, but the step by step photos make sure you're doing it just right. This makes it great not just for more accomplished cooks, but for novices as well who are just starting their culinary journey.All in all, I really am enjoying this book and very much recommend it.

What a great buy! I am a fan of Fabio and was excited to try out his recipies, I have not been dissapointed. So far everything I have cooked has turned out beautifully.

Fabio's first cookbook gave me great Italian recipes and this new addition did not disappoint. The recipes are easy to follow and the dishes are memorable. I have yet to find another cookbook where the vast majority of the recipes are not just good, but restaurant quality. I am excited to continue making recipes out of this book and anticipating the arrival of a third cookbook.

I like Fabio's first cookbook better but this one is well done and some of the recipes look very good. I have not had the time to make any of them but they seem easy.

It's great...really great! American recipes like tuna fish salad sandwiches made gourmet (like using fresh tuna rather than canned). Chicken pot pies are good too. Also, all recipes have photos of the food.

While not as good as his Italian Kitchen, it is still a great addition to your library. I was hoping for more of Fabio's stories, but that wasn't what this book was about. Already tried 4 of the recipes and they were fast, simple, and delicious.

Quite a variety of recipes, Fabio expresses his humor - photos are great.
