Installed by electrician, good light that we can switch on & off as required

Goods were received within delivery time estimate. The light seemed well packaged and neat within its box. I had a quick look over it before putting away so the electrician could wire up the garage and home. He said he had no issues with it and it looks fine attached on the corner which now eliminates the dark spot.The light given off is not blazing but subtle and easy on the eyes. I have spotlights for that!I have it wired via a Steinel photocell sensor so it's on at sunset, off about 1 a.m.then back on if still dark for a couple of hours in the morning about 4 a.m. Would buy again if needed similar. I suppose an led type bulb may help if you want brighter type light but it suits me fine as it filters through the porch and rear part of the house similar to a streetlight into the kitchen if all other lights are off so you don't bump into things.Edit: after about 6 months the CFL bulb I have in it has now started strobing so will get an led version. Still no issues. It is good with the photocell sensor as comes on in murky weather automatically which is perfect in winter too.Edit #2 : second CFL bulb seemed to not light for a couple of nights so I swapped with the led from the porch and both do work. Unsure why this happened but this is second CFL bulb issue in 1year. Will stick with leds now anyway. I think I put 4.5 watt in and is far clearer and white compared to old 'yellow'.

Appears well made & iconic shape, which is why we bought it.However - be aware - when we purchased it the description (and the box / instructions) all clearly mentioned GLASS.There is NO glass in this - so not sure why it's even mentioned. The diffuser is PLASTIC.(Materials in the listing did admittedly only list metal & plastic).Seller gets 5 out of 5 stars for communication and customer service.Very good at responding and offered a full refund, so no problems there.We decided to keep it because we could not find another brand with the same shape that uses glass, which would have been our preference.I've seen these lamps installed from 40+ years ago still looking good (with glass diffusers).Happy to be proved wrong but plastic does not *usually* last that long without yellowing or becoming brittle from UV.

A corner light that does the job. Had an issue but this was sorted straight away. Very good customer care.

A replacement for an identical model probably 9 years old. Unfortunately the aluminium body does not bond well with the paint and the old one needed a hammer to crack it enough to remove. Photo of old one.Plus points - plastic diffuser and LED lamp.Replaced with identical model for convenience and it does look the part for now. Only time will tell if it ages any better than the last one. Perhaps an all plastic version might survive better.

I already had one of these fittings that was at least 6 years old and still in the box and I was delighted that it was still available. It’s well made and easy to install

These lights replace our very old glass shades and are in every way just as good. Can highly recommend.
