Sign can be used with or without remote. The sign can stand alone on a tabletop, mantle or will hang on the wall. The back of the sign features a recessed hanger and cord slot so the sign will hang flat against the wall.

Worked as expected
This works as expected. The remote control works great. We have the sign hung about 10 feet away and the remote is mounted inside our studio room on the wall. The different lighting options are a nice feature.I knocked off a star because I felt it was somewhat overpriced.
