By far, one of the best pigment inks you could hope to use. Depending on the type of pen you use with the Carbon Ink, you can produce lines and solid blocks of varying intensities of black. I myself am currently using the CFTR-250 fude brush pen (for very bold lines and large areas of black), as well as the Kuretake No. 7 Fine brush pen (for thinner lines).The cartridges are incredibly versatile, fitting not just pens of the Platinum brand, but a great many other pens as well. On that note, it is advisable to check in advance whether these cartridges can fit your own pen.

真っ黒なインクです。字がハッキリ見えます。

顔料インク、ドライアップしたら大変、粘度が高いという情報が有ったのでインクの出が悪そうなイメージだったが、使ってみるとインクフローが良くて書きやすかった。謳い文句ほど黒くは無いが耐水性は良い。

長文を書くとなるとボールペンよりも万年筆を使いたくなりますが、水性インクだと、手で紙面をよごすことがしばしばでした。このプラチナのインクはカートリッジが使え、インクの匂いもなく、使いやすいです。

Perfect black ink with a wonderful consistency (slightly viscous, no shading or variation in color - uniformity is extraordinary). If you want a permanent ink, or just something professional, this is striking in all the right ways.
