Handy station for all your charging needs
I wasn’t sure just how much use I’d find this gadget over a standard charging plug but it’s brilliant. From opening the box I was really impressed with the quality and design; it’s a reassuringly heavy block with a sleek black finish, and the power cable is very soft and flexible so is easy to tuck away behind furniture or items. The downside to it being heavy is that I wouldn’t want to carry it around, it isn’t really ‘portable’ but a plus is that it stays in position on a table even if you’re moving multiple cables around etc. There are 4 USB-C ports on the front and two USB-A ports on the side. The ones on the front are easy to identify as they’re in order of power rating, indicated by a laptop symbol on the left and an IQ symbol on the right.I was able to charge/use my Dell Latitude laptop when plugged into the 100W port and a Belkin 60W cable, using single port charging. My other main usage is in our sitting room and when we away - using this plugged into a single socket I can simultaneously charge my phone, Apple Watch, earphones and my partners phone which uses a USB-A cable at the same time. This is particularly handy in hotels with limited sockets. I think it’s very reasonable value given the cost of a laptop charging cable, this is a really neat little piece of kit.

A Small Powerful Charger with Which Sits Flat on Your Desk
This “nano” charger is designed to sit flat on your desk. It is beautifully made with a very small footprint, but the thick inflexible mains cable spoils the effect. The charger is not supplied with USB cables. This is understandable, but also regrettable, because the choice of cable seriously influences the performance you are going to get from it. I used a high quality 240W cable in my tests. My dummy load is rated at 35W so I was unable to test the charger at its maximum power, however at the all the available voltages; 5V, 9V, 15V and 20V, the charger was able to supply 35W without significant reduction in voltage, which is a good result. The photographs “PD Trigger 105W” indicate the performance at various voltages. The data printed on the back of the charger (shown below) gives its specification. It is however very difficult to read, as the text is faint and small, and a casual user is unlikely to know which port to use. The labelling on the ports themselves is also unhelpful:Anker Nano Charger (130W, 6 Ports)Model: A2155Input:100-240V, 2.0A, 50-60HZSequence from Left to Right (C1-C4, A1-A2)Single Port Output:USB-C1: 9.0V=3.0A, 27.0W / 15.0V=3.0A, 45.0W / 20.0V=5.0A, 100.0W (100.0W Max)USB-C2: 9.0V=3.0A, 27.0W / 15.0V=3.0A, 45.0W / 20.0V=3.25A, 65.0W (65.0W Max)USB-C3 / C4: 9.0V=2.22A, 20.0W (20.0W Max)USB-A1 / A2: 5.0V=2.4A, 12.0W (12.0W Max)Two Ports in Use: Up to 130.0W MaxThree Ports in Use: Up to 130.0WMax Four Ports in Use: Up to 127.0W MaxFive Ports in Use: Up to 129.0W MaxSix Ports in Use: Up to 129.0W MaxTotal Output Up To 130.0W MaxAs can be seen in my pictures the FNB58 analyser’s readings concur with the above specification. It is positive to see a correctly fused 3A mains cable, but the weight and size of it dominates this tiny charger and seriously detracts from its “sleek” aesthetic appearance.Used with a top quality USB cables this charger offers a good range of output voltages and currents. It is nicely made, but loses a star because of the ugly mains cable.

A powerful, compact charger that looks great, performs great & easily handles all my devices
I’ve have purchased plenty of Anker products over the years, from cables to power banks, to car chargers and they’ve always been top quality, so I had no hesitation in getting this Nano charger. Once again, Anker has surprised me with something that looks different from the usual chunky, bland chargers on the market. This one is compact, neat, and actually quite stylish, and not the sort of thing you feel you need to hide away under a desk. This has a total of 6 charging ports - four USB-C and two USB-A, which gives gives me all the flexibility I need, as more and more devices are USB-C, with a few legacy USB-A connectors still about. I’ve used this to charge my MacBook Air and iPad at the same time, with room left over for my phone and a Bluetooth speaker. I tested it by plugging in two laptops together just to see if the claims held up, and sure enough, they both charged very quickly without the charger getting hot or struggling. The 130W total output is impressive for something this size. One little touch I really like is the detachable AC cable. It makes it much easier to pack in my laptop bag when I needed to take it away with me, which is much tidier than having a plug sticking out. The charger also has status indicators which are useful without being bright or annoying.Overall, Anker have nailed it again with this charger. It feels like proper quality, works exactly as described, and looks better than the usual boring blocks you get with other brands. It really is like having 6 mega fast chargers in your bag (or even pocket, as it's small enough) with the size of less than one of them. What Anker haven't mentioned is rather than this being a normal silicone based charger, this uses GaN (Gallium Nitride) technology, and this is what allows it to be smaller, quicker, and more power efficient without outputting too much heat either. Quite simply put, it' using the best technology on the market, and this Anker 6 port charger really shows how compact they can make the chargers using the latest GaN technology. This is by far the best looking and best performing charger I have purchased to date and it's a straight 5 out of 5 stars without a single doubt in my mind about anything about it. I have other multiport GaN chargers, but none such as compact and as slim as this and this has just become my new portable charging buddy !
