Easy to Use with Multiple Watches
The press is machined very well to very high standards. The quality of manufacturing is impressive. The dies are marked in mm and are easy to change. Once the back is ready to be replaced loading up the watch and turning the press is as simple as it gets as it only takes enough pressure to hear the click of the back of the watch engaging. This press is easy to use, easy to change dies, and has the right size and weight to handle any of my watches. This is a well designed and engineered press. MT

Poor quality
I was hoping that this would be a less expensive version of a Horotec press. On initial use, I notices that the dies do not sit square to each other. When using, it is necessary to rotate the watch case in order to get somewhat even pressure all the way around. After 2 or 3 uses, the thing started coming apart. The screw have come loose. There is a pin that should keep the spindle in line. This pin seems too short causing the spindle to twist and jam the spindle. I had hoped that this would be adequate for limited hobby use, but it is not. Not much savings when I will now purchase a proper quality tool, which I should of done from the beginning.

This works very well and I am glad I ordered this one.
First I would like to say I am not a professional, but I am capable of fixing a few things with watches starting easy with new battery replacement. Along the road though I have broken the crystal on two expensive watches when I had trouble putting the back onto the watch. Even though this Happybuy repair tool did not come with even simple directions I was able to figure out how to use it and it worked great!!! I was surprised at the ease and confidence it gave me to pop off a press back onto the watch the "snap-off" watch cover. It pays for itself quickly when you use it just a few times. Best of all I do not have to pay $15 plus to the jewelers each time. Another point, this tool appears extremely well put together to get the quality result.

Closes the most stubborn casebacks too
Finally a way to close those stubborn snap casebacks. Worked great once you realize it has two levels of screw-tightening. Once close to the watch, the handle turns at a finer increment, allowing slowly applied pressure and a good fit for crystals and casebacks.. Love it.

Solid...but Poorly Packed
This has met my needs so far. I am a hobbyist so I don't use it that often. The shipment packing of the device was poor. The handle actually broke off. It was easy enough to fix with super glue so I didn't send it back for replacement.

Decent press, needs to be gone over to check for loose bits
Just used this for the first time. It worked but I had to fuss with it a bit and I think it'll go more smoothly in the future. It's a decent press for the money but it came with several parts that were so loose I thought they were probably supposed to be installed like that.In particular the threaded ring that holds the lower side of the main cylinder needed to be tightened in order to stop the cylinder from rotating under pressure. This is the red 34.5m x 9.5mm ring on the under side of the top block and goes around the main cylinder and threads down onto the spiral guide for the main crank thing (sorry I don't know any of the proper machinery terms). The screw for the lower press block was also loose. So it's fine but may not come ready to go out of the box.

Very impressed
I was very impressed with this watch press. I used the press to insert a new crystal into my watch and this watch press did a great job apply even pressure to the crystal so it sits flush within the case. I have used other presses in the past with handles and leavers and I found that since the leaver acts as a fulcrum the pressure is not even and it leaves the crystal sitting at an angle. This is especially a concern if you are pressing a domed crystal which has a tendency to be extra difficult to sit flat. The material of the instrument is also very sturdy and heavy duty and I can see it lasting for years without encountering mechanical issues.

Broke after two uses
The large know at the top is installed with just a pin through it to attach it to the shaft. Once that goes, which it did quickly on mine, there is no way to fix it. If it was a screw, perhaps you could replace it. The company offered to send a replacement but I turned that down because the design itself is flawed, not this particular unit. Then, they offered me a partial refund which we negotiated a bit before settling on an amount. I gave them two stars because they were willing to ship out a replacement at no cost and I would not have to take this to UPS so I appreciate their effort. As for the unit, it is very heavy and sturdy but it definitely needs an improved design.

Solid construction, had to remove the max limiter so that watch cases could fit in press.
Solid, but max limiter is too restrictive. Also, screws are not held in place well and need locktite
