Beautiful and healthy
I bought a small one because mature ones are pricey. But I’m very happy with the amount of growth so far

Not a good seller
I bought two of the horstman blue cedar. They are both grafted very poorly as the base plant is a long stub that runs up 2 inches from the grafted point. One was five inches and the other was 8 inches. Very tiny for the $40 charge for each. Less than a week after slip potting the small one is losing its needles which indicates to me it will probably die. The larger one has not lost any needles. Needless to say I’m very disappointed with these plants and this seller

Over All Positive Expereince and Decent Trees for the Price
Decent plant for the price. These are grafts but when I asked what was the root source, there was no reply. My two trees arrived healthy and vigorous with several new growth buds but that may also have been assisted by the time of year (late winter/early spring). Buyers shouldn't be expecting much of a tree for 3 years.I really wish I could find sellers of 4 to 7 year pre-bonsai trees. The trees arrived in regular priority box with pots securely shrink wrapped and trees folded to fit in the box. I wasn't too happy about that but the Blue Atlas Cedar is already pretty flexible anyway. Besides, I was already planning to, and actually already have, performed several wired bends for bonsai purposes anyway so not a major issue.I contacted the seller several times in advance of the purchase with size/description questions and they did not always respond, but did mostof the time and did so to my eventual satisfaction.Over all, a positive experience even though I wish I could buy slightly older / larger trees, and I'm considering other purchases from "Japanese Maples and Evergreens", THANKS!

Plant it the day it arrives.
It was in dirt and was alive , I planted it the day it arrived. It is smaller then I expected, but I like to plant things small. I am satisfied with my tree.

Inaccurate image
The actual item is a single-stem graft about 8" long; nowhere near what is shown in the promotional image. I am very disappointed in the item received as per the item shown in the advertised image. This is a clear case of misrepresentation. If this is two years old, it must have just had its second birthday. Very small for the price.

Bad Tree
Now that spring is here the growth on one of the trees I bought is not good. Appears to have been pruned incorrectly. Main truck was cut and tree is growing on the side.Tree delivered is not what it should be, Do not buy through Amazon!

good product, good value
Trees arrived in excellent condition. Trees were just as described -- size wise. The small trees are attractive and well branched. They're off to a good start and growing vigorously.
